Quiet spot overlooking the Lake.
Pros:

Absolutely beautiful view from balcony and from the terrace, looking over Lake Brienzersee.
Such friendly and helpful owners and staff. Sullies was very entertaining. Good to have a kettle and a fridge for a change. So many places don’t.

Exceptional stay
Pros:

So many things to admire. Right from the start, the warm welcome and assistance from Sylke was exceptional. Marc, the owner, is similarly really welcoming and helpful.
The location, close to a bus stop and railway station, gives good access. The guest card gives free local transport and discounts on a lot of attractions.
The view is sublime with a bar terrace and simple food in the evenings. Splendid inclusive breakfast.
Room is a good size and spotlessly clean. The comfortable bed, good double/ triple glazing and quiet location means a good night's sleep.
Very comprehensive guest info and extensive hotel TV channels available.
Air cooling, though a little noisy, is effective at keeping room at a comfortable temperature in hot weather.

Hotel was great, especially if you want to get back into Interlaken, as you can go by train (hourly) or bus (every 30 mins) Very freindly staff, good breakfast and great view of the lake

Cons:

Not much, however I did not like having to pay a 3 Euro charge for having just one drink, as we had not spent 20 euros. We loved the place, but having spent a lot to stay there, I think they could have afforded to let us have a drink without having to pay the additional fee - it just seems a bit petty. But I would not want this to put people off staying there. Just make sure you spend 20 euros in the bar!!

A very relaxing stay
Pros:

We stayed here for 4 nights. Excellent location just outside Interlaken, which is easily accessible by car, train, bus or boat. Rinngenberg itself is an interesting place to explore.
The rooms have modern decor, are exceptionally clean and have wonderful views of Lake Brienz and the mountains beyond. There is a lovely terrasse where you can sit and enjoy a drink and a snack and take in the view.
The buffet breakfast was extensive and very good quality.
Marc the owner was a great host and he is assisted by a very friendly team.

Lovely days in Ringgenberg.
Pros:

The location is lovely, we had a gorgeous apartment facing the Brienz lake and the hotel location is brilliantly located a couple of moments away from the Ringgenberg train station and the Ringgenberg port (walking uphill with stairs). The views are outstanding. The interior of the apartment is beautifully designed, comfortable, clean, and spacious. Staff at the hotel was very kind and attentive. It was a pleasure to stay in this hotel. We would be back without hesitations! Final note, we were happy to choose Ringgenberg over Interlaken, it felt as well connected but way calmer and with more access to the breathtaking landscapes of the region.

Cons:

It can be inferred from the list of services on the ad, but it is important to stress how inconvenient it was that the kitchen is not well equipped and kitchen appliances (oven and stove) are only for display and not functional. A kettle and a microwave work ok. Understandable that this is to maintain the top-notch facilities and to cater to the enjoyment of guests but this is especially critical when guests have eating restrictions, as Ringgenberg is not exactly plentiful of food options.

The breakfast is alright not marvelous and can get repetitive.

Pros:

Amazing location on the heart of Brienz lakez wonwuoet peaceful and beautiful, the staff was really helpful with letting us use the microwave and provide us with cutlery and crockery for our take away from coop at night. Excellent people who let us store luggage in the iron room when we arrived. Highly recommend . Breakfast was great, rooms were a bit smaller but great . Would highly recommend for the easy connection to both train and bus stop at walking distance

Staff were very help and the location fantastic for a base camp to travel around the interlaken regions
Pros:

The location was perfect for us. Just outside Interlaken and only 5min walk to train. Great base , close to all activities but still very peaceful and quiet.

Cons:

Breakfast options were great but no lunch or evening meal options.
