Breakfast was filling and the service was great. They made to order eggs, ginger shots, juice, coffee, an assortment of cereals, yogurt, cheese, and meats.
Die Lage
Online-Check-in funkioniert nicht. Personal unflexibel und unmotiviert, Küche einfallslos (es gab nur Salzkartoffeln). Mein Reis war vollkommen geschmacklos. Hauptgang kam während wir noch die Vorspeise gegessen haben. Die Bedienung wollte den Fisch ( 40 bis 44 Sfr) in den Salamander tun. Und das will ein gutes Fisch-Lokal sein? Einen Fisch für eine halbe Stunde in den Salamander tun? Tote Mücken auf der Fensterbank. Fliegengitter wurde erst am 3. Tag eingebaut. Zimmertür wurde vom Personal nicht abgeschlossen. Fenster den ganzen Tag bei 30 Grad weit offen gelassen. Duschschlauch defekt. Frühstück langweilig, karg und "angefressen"
Midden in Stein am Rhein, aan de Rijn gelegen hadden wij een kamer met airco. Dit was heerlijk met deze zomerse temperaturen.
In de omschrijving van Booking staat dat wij een balkon geboekt hebben, maar deze hebben ze helemaal niet!
The location and views from the hotel are wonderful, as were the room towards the Rhein!
The position of the hotel is exceptional. We had the pleasure to have Rhein as the view of our room which was an unforgettable experience. The hotel has a long history which one may have a glimpse at from the first floor.
Super-Lage, traumhafte Terrasse zum Essen direkt am Rhein. Dass Essen war ausserordentlich. Super-freundliches Personal. Da fühlt man sich daheim.

Zimmer war sauber.
Personal lief beim Eincheken davon, keine gute Informationen bekommen.
Im Zimmer gibt es keine Kosmetika Tücher (das wäre ein Minimum) oder sonst etwas für den Preis ... sehr minimalistisch.
Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und sauber.
Wie wurden trotz Reservation und fast leerem Gastraum nicht an einen Fensterplatz gesetzt. So konnten wir die tolle Aussicht auf den Rhein nicht geniessen.
Die Preise auf der Speisekarte und der Website passten nicht überrein.
Das Fisch Schlemmermenü war eine Enttäuschung
