The Badhof guest house is a Minergie building. The building is equipped with a controlled air exchange system that ensures an even and draft-free air exchange. Therefore, we do not have air conditioning.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Even though it is slightly farther than central Lucerne, rooms are much bigger, the view is wowwwww of the golf course and mountain back drop, it's nice and quiet, staff are super accommodating : my husband and I were missing our train and the taxi wasn't coming so the boss actually dropped us to the station just so we make it! So nice of them, they go above and beyond to help.
As is in Switzerland there isn't AC anywhere except cooling system so can get a bit hot but they provide fans

The room was spacious, with an excellent view. A calm, quiet and relaxing stay at the end of a long Europe trip. The room was cleaned everyday. It was so good to come back to a clean room after a tour. The breakfast was enough. The dining staff are good. We were given a boxed breakfast on the day we had an early tour. The hotel staff are very kind and respectful. We felt like they wanted us to have the best stay possible. Switzerland was our last country to visit after traveling 7 countries. We had stayed in some very good hotels but when I rate them all overall, I would rate Gasthaus Badhof the best of all the hotels we stayed in different countries. We will always remember this hotel.
If anything could have been better, it is the cleaning of the room floor. Dust bunnies kept rolling around whenever we returned to the room, even after the room was cleaned.
