Äußert freundlicher Empfang und Betreuung. Super Frühstück mit grandiosem Blick im Schloss. Abendessen unten im Storchen (gehört dazu) erstklassik und ein Fest für Weingenießer.
Wohnungen im Nebengebäude. Wir waren begeistert.

Das ganze Ambiente ist aussergewöhnlich. Mit viel Style umgebaut - alt und neu gekonnt kombiniert. Ein echtes Bijou!

Das Hotel ist visuell sehr ansprechend, das Personal war grosszügig und ging auf unsere Wünsche ein. Ausserdem war das Essen im Hotel Storchen herausragend.

This castle hotel is unique for its location, history and panoramic views of the village of schlossrued on the terrace. View was amazing on our second day when the sun was shining.
The room was clean and spacious and had all the facilities we needed for our 2 nights stay and some of the original stone wall features.
All the staff were wonderful, helpful and very friendly.
Breakfast was continental with boiled or scrambled eggs herbs on request and eat as much as you like. Tea/coffee/juices were very plentiful.
Lovely little bar with comfy seating. Water provided in rooms each day. A fridge with soft drinks and snacks in the communal room which you can purchase and charge to room.
We really loved our stay here and wished we could have stayed longer. I would recommend this hotel highly as the old castle and rooms have been restored and renovated beautifully.

Cadre et bâtiment exceptionnels

The Schloss is located in a beautiful area with rolling hills around and views in all directions. The property itself is interesting. The bar area is quirky and comfortable and the terrace is lovely (sadly we didn’t have the weather to properly enjoy it - although blankets are provided and we sat out for a while). The bar was well stocked and served snacks. We were in the annexe, which possibly was in a previous life the kitchen. We’d requested a room on a lower floor as had read comments regarding narrow staircases etc and we were travelling with our dog. This was met well with a room on the ground floor. We paid for a larger room and the additional space was good but we could not really use it as it was under a massive chimney, very picturesque and quaint but had to be careful not to bump our heads (failed several times). There were some woods adjacent to the property where we could let our dog run, all uphill from the property and quite small overall but we were able to have reasonable walks.

Idéalement placé, surplombant le village est les environs. Les chambres ont été rénovées et transformées avec beaucoup de gout et caractère. L'espace à disposition à l'extérieur et intérieur est très appréciable. Les jardins sont jolis, il y a un local fermé pour les vélos.

Wir haben leider nur eine Nacht im Schloss Rued verbracht. Aber dafür haben wir auch den kurzen Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Das Schloss Rued liegt etwas abgelegen aber dafür äusserst ruhig und mit einer herrlichen Aussicht. Es wurde sehr liebevoll und mit sehr viel Geschmack sorgfältig restauriert. Ein wahres architektonisches Bijou!
Das Frühstück war gut sortiert und reichhaltig. Eierspeisen gibt es auf Wunsch ebenfalls. Rundum ein sehr schönes Erlebnis! Ein grosses Kompliment an die Eigentümer, den Architekten und natürlich, last but not least, an das Hotelteam! Sie machen einen wunderbaren Job. Nur schade, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten. Aber das werden wir bei Gelegenheit nachholen!
