Important information:

Albergo Antica Posta is located in the pedestrian area of Ascona. When arriving by car and you reach Ascona, drive all straight until the post office. There, you will find two plugs designating the pedestrian area. Press on the white button and announce yourself as a hotel guest. The police will let you drive through.The hotel is located about 656 feet from there, on the left hand side, just after the boutique of Farfalla. It is a green house with two olive trees.

Please note that the city tax includes the Ticino Ticket. It offers free benefits and discounts in the Canton of Ticino, including free use of train and bus services. For more details, please contact the property directly.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Restaurant hat für Hotelgäste ohne Reservierung keinen Platz, die ältere Dame im Restaurant war sehr abweisend

Ideal für einen Ascona Besuch an zentraler Lage
Pros:

Sehr zentrale Lage, sehr freundlicher Gastgeber der uns viele interessante Informationen vermittelte und ebenso freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Frühstück konnte in einem schönen Innenhof in diesem historischen Gebäude eingenommen werden.

Pros:

A lovely boutique hotel right in the heart of Ascona. The location is perfect: you can easily explore the town on foot and it’s so convenient to pop back to the hotel for a break before heading out again.

Marino and Laura were very kind and welcoming, and they made us feel at home. It is the perfect place for a couple, and we’ll definitely be back!

Wunderschönes Zimmer mit Deckenbemalung und Klimaanlage. Das Bad ist älter aber sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Lage in der Fussgängerzone ist fantastisch.

Pros:

Eigentlich alles. Die Laage war perfekt, das Zimmer war sauber und gut eingerichtet, das Frühstück war sehr lecker, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Ich habe nichts negatives auszusetzen.

Wunderbares Hotel im Herzen von Ascona. Nur 1Minute zu See.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück ausgesprochen lecker. Alles regional und die Eierspeisen werden alle direkt frisch zubereitet.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Amazing restaurant / breakfast room. It is a real gem this building. It was the first post office in Ticino!! Wonderful historical building. But still with comfort for the guests.
They have fantastic quality croissants for breakfast :-))
I want to try their restaurant next time. It is very cozy and inviting :-)

Es war schön und gemütlich

Frühstück sehr übersichtlich , aber gut. Sehr freundliches , zuvorkommendes Personal

Cons:

Gebucht über Booking com, da wurde nirgends erwähnt, dass kein Zimmer ohne Treppe erreichbar ist. Unser Zimmer war im 2. Stock und über 32 Treppenstufen erreichbar. Lift keiner vorhanden.
Uns wurde zuvorkommend unser Koffer ins Zimmer getragen und bei der Abreise wieder hinunter gebracht, danke.
