Little something out of a village fairy tale
Pros:

Staff very welcoming and helpful on arrival and departure- held bags for extra time for us to explore, which was excellent. Only a little underwhelmed we didn’t have lake view room - had cranky across the way lady looking through the window most of the time, so had to keep blinds closed. Host has thought of most things for the room - good coffee machine, fridge, wifi etc. The location of this accom is out of a fairytale. Lots of food and drinking and lovely strolling along the water options. We would return here. Was a little magical!

Cons:

This wasn’t a problem for us- but may be for some- the lift is quite small, and stairway winding- again we were ok to use the stairs, but some may not be.

Nice design led hotel, but no staff available significantly weakened the offering. Felt more Airbnb than hotel.
Pros:

The location in the ‘old town’ is excellent. The finishes and furnishing along with the broader design approach to integrate the rooms and spaces into the various building shows is quite something.

Cons:

Hmmm.. no staff present save for one person each morning to serve and cook breakfast. Perhaps that was because we arrived Friday evening and only stayed over the weekend but both couples in our group struggling to gain access to their rooms in arrival. Once we worked out where the rooms are located, and had gone through the various emails sent prior to the stay to get your ‘klever key’ access, then called the number shown on a card seen through the window of a closed reception area, you’ll need your phone charged and data/signal available to gain access at any point. The lack of any charging points in the room, adapters, or bedside sockets doesn’t promote the above…and access anxiety remained the stay.
