Awesome
Pros:

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, overlooking the beautiful Lake Brienz with the mountains rising in the background. Waking up to that view was simply unforgettable. 🏔️💙

Cons:

We had two big suitcases and our room was on the 3rd floor with no lift, so we had to carry everything all the way up. But honestly, it was worth it! The hotel was very well maintained and had such a charming vintage feel. We absolutely loved the experience!

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone considering a comfortable stay in Brienz.

Extremely Poor Experience – Not Worth the Price
Unfortunately, my stay at Seehotel Sternen in Brienz was extremely disappointing. I paid around €190 for one night, and the quality and comfort were nowhere near what I would expect at this price.

The biggest issue was the shared bathroom, which was extremely small and uncomfortable — honestly, it felt even more cramped than an airplane bathroom. The room had no air conditioning, and although a standing fan was provided, it was hardly useful. There was also no lift, and I was given a room on the third floor, making it very inconvenient with luggage.

The breakfast was also very poor, with limited choices and disappointing quality.

The only positive is the location, which is convenient and attractive. Unfortunately, a good location cannot compensate for the lack of basic comfort and poor value for money.

For around €190 per night, I expected a decent level of comfort and service. I would not stay here again,

Für das was geboten wird leider zu teuer.
Pros:

Die Lage war super und der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Zudem konnten wir auch um viertel nach 9 am Abend Abendessen bestellen, was sehr aussergewöhnlich war.

Cons:

Bei diesem Preis hatten wir mehr vom Zimmer (im Dachstock mit vielen schrägen Decken und einem sehr ringhörigen Badzimmer, was bei 4 Personen recht unpraktisch ist) und vor allem auch vom Frühstück erwartet. In einer Region, wo es vielen leckeren Produkte wie Käse, Fleisch, Brot, Honig und Konfitüren gibt und in einer Saison, wo es viele frische Früchte gab, war das Angebot sehr mager und viele Produkte in kleinen Plastikverpackungen und gar nicht frisch.

Pros:

Ligging voor uitstapjes en prachtig in het dorp aan het water. Hans de uitbater was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Cons:

Het is oud waardoor de verdiepingen piepen en kraken.Heeft charme maar als kinderen op verdieping erboven rondrennen iets minder😁

Frühstück war ausreichend, kleine gute Auswahl. Ein- und Auschecken war unkompliziert, Gastgeber freundlich.

Cons:

Die Zimmer unter dem Dach waren sehr warm, dem Wetter geschuldet und es ist ein Altbau.
