Charming hotel in Neuchatel.
Pros:

Beautiful spacious and airy room with large bathroom. Loved the sound of the stream behind the hotel - very soothing. The trail along the stream was an oasis in an otherwise industrial area. Also appreciated the multiple English language TV channels - something often lacking in European hotels.

Charming oasis with great food
Pros:

Beautiful property away from the crowds with a soothing stream flowing past. Rooms are incredibly spacious with tea, coffee, stocked bar fridge, desk, fireplace and large bathroom with good toiletries.
Each room is designed differently which makes it charming.
The staff are very friendly and the food at the restaurant was outstanding. There is a lovely terrace next to the stream.
Even though it’s close to the railway line, you hardly hear it.
Free public transport pass but you can easily walk to the city.
Great WiFi connection.

Cons:

The breakfast selection was not great. No hot food -you can boil eggs. Good selection of breads but just a few slices of ham and cheese. I informed the hotel of dietary requirements and the breakfast lady said she was not informed and that it would take 15 mins to defrost the bread. She seemed reluctant to do it.
While the food was amazing at the restaurant, the service in the evening was appalling. We arrived at 7.30pm, got some bread at 8pm and the starter arrived at 9pm.

Pros:

Cons:

Rien.
