Pros:

The hotel is in a great location right next to the river, with the boat pier directly in front of the property. It is very convenient for catching a boat, especially at sunset. Bus 61 stops just around the corner, and it takes only 7 minutes to reach Spiez train station. If you arrive from the station, the hotel is also within an easy 16-minute walk.
Spiez Castle is only a 5-minute walk away and offers beautiful views of the entire town. The staff are very kind, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Our balcony had a wonderful lake view, which was the highlight of our stay. This hotel is a great choice for a relaxing vacation.

Great location and room.
Pros:

Fabulous location and very big, clean and well appointed room. Staff helped greatly with tour advice.

Cons:

No lift available. Getting our luggage up 2 flights of stairs was tough with no offer of help after asking if there was a lift and the reply was "it's only 2 lots of stairs". We are over 60 years of age and avoid this when possible so we do not get an injury.

Good location and beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was lovely with good options.

Cons:

The room was a little more outdated than the photos showed, however, had everything we needed. Noticed some hornets outside our window, which limited us being able to open the windows, meaning it was quite warm. Unsure if a nest was nearby.

Eine shöne Erinnerung
Pros:

Super Lage direkt am See. Das Zimmer war gut, das Bett gemütlich. Meiner Tochter hat es sehr gut gefallen :-) Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und lecker!

Cons:

Der Hoteltrackt ist charmant, wirkt aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Insbesondere die Fenster bedürfen einer Renovation.

Super nice stay in Spiez
Pros:

The location on the Thunersee close to the marina was great. We could park on site for free. Our room had a large balcony with a view of the marina. Breakfast was very good and included prosecco. We had very good meals at the restaurant both nights we stayed. Our room was a good size and had a refrigerator. The hotel has a small cove for swimming in the lake.

Cons:

There was no lift for our heavy suitcases.
