Pros:

Location & helpfulness of reception staff

Cons:

Room needed full refurbishment or at least extensive maintenance. The portable air conditioner was totally insufficient even with 2 extra fans on high. Proper insulated curtains would have helped and deck was so small it was unusable & quite shabby.

Très bien malgré la petite chambre.
Pros:

Possibilité de se garer devant l’hôtel mais le parking est petit. Emplacement au bord du lac, très bien. Petit déjeuner très bien.

Cons:

J’avais réservé 2 chambres, une petite pour une personne (mon fils) et une plus grande avec terrasse pour 2 adultes. Un seul lit à été fait dans la plus grande chambre, si bien que mon fils avait la plus grande chambre et la plus chère. Mon époux et moi avons dormi dans la petite, qui donnait sur le parking. Cela n’a pas été réfléchi, dommage.

Die Zimmer sind sehr ringhörig. Man hat aus dem Nachbarzimmer jedes Wort gehört. Die Klimaanlage hat nicht richtig funktioniert.

L emplacement est splendide. Personnel sympathique. Nous avons adoré l'accès au lac, la jolie balade em forêt le long du lac, le restaurant de l'hôtel. Très bon rapport qualité prix pour la région

Cons:

Nous y étions par temps de canicule. Nous avions une chambre double et etions avec un chien et un bébé de 2 mois. Nous avons souffert du chaud (27 à 30 degrés dans la chambre), c'etait un peu trop petit. Il y avait une climatisation d'appoint mais elle faisait un bruit insupportable et ne rafraichissait pas la chambre. Malgré ça un super séjour

Pros:

早餐很不错，但是这个酒店房间太小了，尤其是卫生间，浴室太小了，洗澡的时候水管还坏了，导致没法洗澡，本来说是有电梯，但是很小的残疾人椅子，爸爸妈妈腿脚不好，上下楼有点费劲，这个景观也太一般了，露台真不有点差

Wonderful hotel, now with added air conditioning, fabulous location with lovely breakfast.
Pros:

My second visit to this hotel and this stay was even better than my stay in May 2025. Very friendly welcome, lovely clean, newly refurbished room, the addition of the air conditioning unit certainly made a difference to keep the room cooler without having the windows open and welcoming in the little midges that can appear due to the closeness of the lake. The lakefront location is, of course the highlight. The views are stunning and whilst it is a 20 minute uphill walk to the rail station, if you are using the lake boats then it is literally a 2 minute walk from boat to hotel room. Breakfast was lovely and the free travel pass you are given when you arrive means you can catch the hourly bus from outside the hotel up to Spiez station as well as other local buses in the area.

Cons:

Whilst the air conditioner was ok to keep the room at a reasonable temperatrue during the daytime and was a welcome addition, the unit is too loud for me, as a light sleeper, to have running during the night. I also only found the safe on the morning of checkout and it was not apparent how to use it, so would be useful to have the safe explained on check in or an instruction card in the room.
