Very nice location right in the old city of Zürich close to Münsterplatz, lovely Bistro on the ground floor with fabulous breakfast and very delicious dishes for lunch & dinner. One should skip to look for another restaurant! The apartment itself is really nice and cosy on two floors. The AC worked very well and even on the hottest days it was a pleasure to stay in a perfect temperature right under the roof. Very silent (beside the whispering AC when working) ... happy to stay there again!

Great location and comfy bed
Steep stairs
Room was clean and the bed was comfortable . Check-in staff were warm and efficient, which I appreciated after a long travel day.
Two issues that made the stay difficult:
1. The AC is a portable/mobile unit that’s extremely loud and didn’t really cool the room. Had to choose between being hot or trying to sleep with the noise.
2. The bathroom window couldn’t be opened because the kitchen exhaust vents directly under the room. No airflow and kitchen smells came up when we tried.

Buena ubicación
Imposible descansar con el ruido del restaurante que está abajo, la lucarna del techo que te hace despertar apenas sale el sol (5.30 am) y que además hace calentar la habitación. El aire acondicionado es imposible de prender por el ruido que hace. Las sábanas no existen. Solo un cubre colchón y un acolchado. No hay personal de hoteleria. Solo meseros. No hay limpieza diaria ni hay amenities. Solo un jabón líquido.
Perfect location and tonnes of charm in the appartements
A bit uncomfortsble if you are taller person… no standing hight on the upper appartement
Montmartre is in a great location in the old town, an easy walk from the station and main street in Zurich. We loved the city and the apartment was a good base for exploring it. The apartment, Maurice, is nicely decorated and has a small balcony.
The layout of the apartment is not ideal and the other apartment, Josephine would be a better choice. The bedroom in apartment Maurice is up steps on a mezzanine floor and you have to duck down to get over to the bed.
Very convenient location! Staff were all lovely! Do not underestimate the stairs! They are very steep and I was lucky the lovely staff helped me with my bags.

Not a quiet place.
The sounds from happy chatting late-night pedestrians and the church bells going every 15 minutes (although happy sounds) impacted on sleeping. I will recommend noise cancelling ear pods. We had to keep windows open, it was hot. The very welcome mobile aircon was too noisy to keep on during the night. (I was all good after taking sleeping meds.)

Clean and simple. In the middle of old city. It’s in great shape and they provide coffee tea hairdryer all the basics plus they do have Wi-Fi. Getting in and out was smooth regarding the Keys

Our room (Josephine) was beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished. The cafe downstairs was outstanding; they had the best food, coffee, and cocktails we had in Zürich.
The sinks are a bit small, but we loved having 2 bathrooms.
