Handy for an overnight stopover
Pros:

Location is directly opposite Geneva Cornavin railway station, which was handy as an overnight stopover on my way from Rome to London. The room is as described on the website.

Cons:

Although the bathroom had a bathtub with shower, I was unable to have a relaxing bath to relive aching muscles after a shower as the plug for the bathtub was missing - hence the reason I have subtracted one mark.

Posizione strategica. Si trova di fronte alla stazione Cornavin di Ginevra a 8 minuti col treno dedicato dall'aeroporto. A 800 m si trova il lago e il ponte che attraversa il fiume e conduce al centro storico di Ginevra.

It’s run down, even the towels in the bathroom had not been replaced in years. This was my last time at this place.

Great location with a little compromise
Pros:

Location is very walkable a close to the station. The hotel is compact and breakfast was good.

Cons:

The area is not the most scenic. There is no safety issues since we are talking about Swiss but it certainly does not bring 'romantic' into a sentence. The lack of A/C had an impact since the street is very noisy. We could not sleep with windows closed, too hot inside!
