Staff and location were fantastic. No A/C, bad beds, & pillows very poor.
Pros:

Staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Location was excellent also!

Cons:

No air conditioning. We were provided a noisy fan - no good when trying to sleep.
Our bed was 2 single beds pushed together. We asked for a double but it couldn't be provided.
Pillows were flat, quite uncomfortable.

very pathetic and biased hotel staff, don't bother booking
Pros:

location was good, right by the river, next to the station

Cons:

there was no air conditioning in the room and it was quite hot until after midnight
even the fan provided could not provide us enough ventilation in the room
the staff was biased towards europeans, and helped other guests with their luggage but didn't even offer to help us get our luggage to our room

Café da manhã completo, bem servido! Funcionários EXTREMAMENTE prestativos e educados, me senti como se estivesse sendo atendida por um brasileiro, um moço sorridente e bem humorado, me deu dicas de lugares nas redondezas. O quarto era ótimo, grande, e espaçoso, e a cama era uma nuvem de tão macia e fofinha. O banheiro era bom, apesar do box não fechar direito. A água do banho quentinha, não tenho do que reclamar. O hotel é antigo, muito bem localizado, com quartos grandes, e uma coisa que me chamou muita atenção foi a atenção aos detalhes. Por onde você vai no hotel, tem tipo uma exposição de objetos antigos, e para que eram utilizados. Os quadros e a história do hotel estão por toda parte. Eu me senti indo num museu, gostei muito dessa experiência e repetiria várias vezes por vários dias seguidos. MUITO BOM MESMO.

* Food policy not clearly explained before booking
* Too many fines and rules (from CH100)
* Felt like a strict dormitory, not a hotel

This was my third time visiting Interlaken, and I have travelled around Switzerland many times, but this was the most disappointing accommodation I have stayed in so far.

The biggest issue was the attitude of one middle-aged male staff member. I will not mention his name, but since I complained twice during my stay, I believe the hotel knows who I am referring to. His tone and attitude were condescending, passive-aggressive, and rude.

Before check-in, a staff member offered to keep my water in the shared bar fridge and even put a sticker on it. However, when I later asked for it, this male staff member said things like, “How would I know?” and “Maybe it was thrown away,” while rolling his eyes and ignoring me.

The minibar in the room was not just weak. It was completely lukewarm and felt as if it was not working at all. When I asked about it, he replied in a patronising tone, saying that it was “because it is a minibar.”

The next day, I prepared instant noodles using the microwave in the shared area while speaking with another staff member for over ten minutes, and nobody told me it was not allowed.

Abgesehen vom gestörten Schlaf war ich sehr zufrieden.
Pros:

Tolle Lage, schönes Badezimmer, guter Rollladen und nettes Personal.

Cons:

Mein Eindruck: Die Türe zum Treppenhaus verursachte einen lauten und spürbaren Schlag welcher mich leider öfters aus dem Schlaf gerissen hat. Es wäre gut wenn diese Türe mit einer „soft-close“ Funktionalität ausgerüstet werden könnte.

Cons:

De lift wax buiten gebruik, niemand heeft ons met de koffers naar het bovenste verdieping brengen. Wij hebben onze auto in de garage laten staan. Wij hebben geen code voor ingang van de garage gekregen. Om alles moesten wij zelf vragen. Boven in de kamer werkte douche niet, geen airco tijdens hitte golf, binnen was 35 graden. Alles is smoezelig, de handdoeken grijs van de slechte wad.
