Important information:

Guests traveling by public transport can reach the property from the main train station by bus (N.2 and N.4) or by using the funicular Lugano Città TPL. In either ways (buses or funicular) you will arrive to Lugano Centro. From Lugano Centro station there is a direct bus (N.12) to Monte Brè that stops at "Aldesago", 656 feet from the hotel.

For guests with heavy luggage or walking difficulties: please continue 164 feet after the hotel by car, then turn left in order to reach the main entrance.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Pros:

Hotel offrant une vue magnifique sur le lac et Lugano. Repas du soir très bon et petit déjeuner très bien aussi.
Arrêt de bus à côté de l'hotel, super !

Cons:

Accueil bon à la réception à l'arrivée et au départ par contre service impersonnel et froid durant le repas du soir et le petit déjeuner.
Literie inadéquate : le lit double n'est pas assez stable et le moindre mouvement le fait bouger !
Lampe du petit hall d'entrée qui s'allume au mouvement, donc si l'un des partenaires se lève durant la nuit, la lampe s'allume et réveille l'autre personne, dommage !

Super Lage mit perfekter Busverbindung runter in die Stadt. Guter Service im Hotel mit ordentlichem Frühstück und gutem Restaurant. Perfekter Seeblick!

Die Lage ist wirklich toll. Das Personal ist freundlich.

Cons:

Viele Zimmer haben Renovationsbedarf.
Am Eingang regnet es herein.
Die Küche ist leider gar nicht zu empfehlen.
Eine viel zu grosse Karte ist da leider gar nicht hilfreich.

Die Lage war umwerfend . Hoch über Lugano mit einem fantastischen Blick über See und Bergen. Traumhaftt und nicht zu toppen.

Cons:

In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Müsste unbedingt renoviert werden .Viel zu teuer für was es bietet. Ausser die Lage ist der Preis wert! Betten waren sehr schlecht. Eigentlich gar keine richtige Matratzen sonder wecheAuflagen die rum rutschen

Amazing view, lovely setting with very attentive, friendly staff!
Pros:

The view is amazing. The location and view of the area can't be better! The staff is super friendly and it is so convenient having the restaurant there. They had a very nice breakfast with many options.

It has all the conveniences you need and you should request a room with a lake view balcony because the view when sitting on a balcony is so pretty.

Cons:

You are part way up the mountain, so it takes a little while (10 min) to get down to the center of Lugano.

But you can either drive (parking is free) or walk or take the funicular or bus down & it is thoroughly worth it because the view is so stunning! You won't see a view like this anywhere else so you don't really mind taking the time to get down because each turn in the road brings another pretty view!

Beautiful Location and Views, but the Rooms Leave a Lot to Be Desired

The hotel is situated in a beautiful location up on a hill, with stunning views, especially from the restaurant. The staff are genuinely kind, welcoming, and very helpful, which certainly adds to the experience.

Breakfast is decent—nothing particularly exciting, but perfectly acceptable.

Unfortunately, the rooms are where things become disappointing. My room was extremely small, and the bathroom was almost ridiculously tiny. Even getting to the toilet was a challenge. The bed was also small and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

Parking is another potential issue. I managed to get a spot, but it was incredibly tight. I would only recommend attempting the parking if you’re very confident in your driving skills and know your car’s dimensions down to the last centimeter!

Overall, the beautiful setting, fantastic views, and lovely staff are definite highlights. However, the cramped accommodations, uncomfortable bed, and challenging parking make it difficult to fully recommend this hotel, especially if comfort is a priority.
