Great location - close to the free swimming area, the port, and also to the metro, so the downtown and the train station are both very accessible.
The staff was great and did everything to accommodate our requests.
It was very hot during our stay, and aince it’s an older building, they are not prepared to deal with the heat waves. That being said, they provided a fan up front, but there’s no A/C, so in the evenings it was the choice between open windows with a lot of noise outside, or a silemt room with very high temperatures.

Very central and nice location at the lake. Pleasant and service minded staff. Outside looks a bit dated and quirky, but our room was spacious, modern and well equipped.

No A/C, but a fan. We still slept well.
Traffic noise from the street in front of the room, but on the positive side the windows blocked out the noise surprisingly well when closed.
Breakfast OK but pretty basic. Empty trays were left empty.
very good location, close to metro, park and the lake. I can start running just cross the street.there are many restaurants and grocery stores around.
when weather is hot, to close the windows make room uncomfortable, to open the window it's noisy. normal that's not a problem.

Location near the water during the heat wave conditions was a real bonus. We were able to cross the road and go for a swim to cool off. Location near the Metro was also very handy. The rooms had enough space for what we needed and the beds were comfortable. A single sheet to cover at night would be better than a lightweight doona.
Not really the fault of this place alone but the lack of air-conditioning was a downer. We were aware of the issue and still chose to stay here because of the proximity to the water. Aircon is not normally required in Switzerland, so the staff did their best to compensate by providing two fans and a water sprayer to help but it was still hot. Just the wrong time of year is all.
