Pros:

gutes Gasthaus, leider war das Restaurant geschlossen aber durch einen Kühlschrank waren immer kalte Getränke zu einem fairen Preis verfügbar. Frühstück war ok.

Cons:

Zimmer voller Mücken. Jagd bis spät in die Nacht. Wahrscheinlich nicht intakte Mückengitter, obwohl vorhanden an allen Fenstern.

Guter Zwischenstopp - gerne wieder
Pros:

Das Hotel selbst ist ein beeindruckendes Gebäude, das die bayerische Tradition und Atmosphäre auf wunderbare Weise widerspiegelt. Stil, Liebe zum Detail und die hochwertige Ausstattung begeistern (einschl. Aussenbereich - wir durften einer Veranstaltung mit Blasmusik beiwohnen). Die zahlreichen historischen Fotos und Dekorationen vermitteln einen lebendigen Eindruck vom Alltag vieler Generationen. Alles ist sauber, gepflegt und sehr gemütlich. Das Personal ist jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Ein besonderes Dankeschön gilt den Eigentümern für ihr aussergewöhnliches Vertrauen: In einem eigens eingerichteten Raum können Gäste Lebensmittel und Getränke entnehmen und den entsprechenden Betrag eigenverantwortlich in eine Kasse legen – ein schönes und heute selten gewordenes Konzept.

Cons:

Leider hat der Wunsch, traditionelle Gegebenheiten zu bewahren, auch seine Schattenseiten. Bei Aussentemperaturen von etwa 38 °C macht sich das Fehlen einer Klimaanlage deutlich bemerkbar. Zudem befindet sich direkt neben dem Hotel ein Stall mit Tieren. Während eine frische Brise kaum ins Zimmer gelangt, dringen die intensiven Gerüche ungehindert hinein, sodass die Nacht alles andere als erholsam war.

Lovely people, very helpful. The room was very clean, with a very spacious bathroom.

Cons:

The room was very warm. Fortunately, they could provide an electric fan, but it is not generally offered and the room would have been uncomfortable without it.
