Einchecken bei Nacht etwas zu dunkel, speziell die Einfahrt

Het personeel vind ik onprofessioneel.Er was een ochtend een meningsverschil een ze waren aan het ruziën in de ontbijtzaal. Ook vroegen we een keer wat terwijl hij buiten zat en toen zei hij nu niet heb pauze. En zoals aangegeven ontbijt mag eerder aangevuld worden. Er is geen restaurant meer terwijl dat nog wel staat aangegeven op de muur maar ook op internet. Toen we aankwamen waren alle deuren dicht moesten echt wel even zoeken waar we naar binnen konden

Hotel was a little bit old.

Die Matratze war durchgelegen, das Bett macht Geräusche beim Umdrehen. Die Ausstattung ist in die Jahre gekommen. Das Restaurant wird seit 2024 nicht mehr betrieben, Frühstück wird aber noch serviert.

Wir hatten eine Junior Suite gebucht. Ob ein großer Raum der zusätzlich mit einem Schlafsofa ausgestattet ist, automatisch eine Junior Suite ist, sei dahingestellt. Ganz schlecht: die Beleuchtung: drei 25W Glasschalen an der Decke. Am Bett zwei helle Lampen, so hell dass wir sie abdunkeln mussten, keine extra Leselampen. Alle anderen Lampen nur "funzelig", vor allem im Bad und im WC. Keinen Kaffeezubereiter oder Wasserkocher; eine befüllte Minibar war vorhanden, aber jeweils immer nur 1 Glas (Sekt, Bier, Wasser, Wein) Im Bad war der Spender mit Pflegeprodukten (3-in-1, noname) leer. Die Betten hatten in die Jahre gekommene Matratzen und jeweils eine Inkontinenzauflage.... keine Matratzentopper.! Kein Begrü8ungskärtchen, geschweige denn frische Blumen. Das ganze wirkt sehr seelenlos.....

The photos on Booking made it look like a professional, lively hotel with a restaurant and a nice main entrance (in fact, the first photo is of the restaurant). The hotel was nothing like it! The photos are clearly from an earlier period and I can imagine the hotel might have done better in the past, but right now it feels deserted and very, very sad, and not very clean. The restaurant closed in 2024 (that photo should really be removed - it is misleading!), the entrance has moved to a dingy corner around the back of the hotel, and the whole place feels like a ghost business. I arrived by myself and felt so uncomfortable that I left again and went to a different place. I was helped by an old man who led me through a horribly dirty kitchen (where I pressume they prepare breakfast...) to a small office in a corner of the former restaurant (which smelled really badly) to arrange the checkout, all the way farting audibly and apparently either not hearing (he was very deaf) or just not caring. The whole place made me feel unpleasant and dirty. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone! I can't believe this is advertised as a 4-star hotel and it is definitely much too expensive for what it really is!
