Pros:

Das Essen aus dem Restaurant war sehr lecker. Vom Bahnhof aus fußläufig erreichbar.
Das Zimmer hat sehr sauber gerochen.
Aufenthalt mit Hund war sehr unkompliziert.

Cons:

Dusche war sehr klein und das Zimmer sehr hellhörig.

Pleasant stay
Pros:

Excellent location and a very pleasant stay

We had a very good stay at Hotel Tomahawk in Baiersbronn. The location was excellent with a good view of the beautiful meadows in the surrounding Black Forest area from our window. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Overall, we had a pleasant and enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend it to others visiting the area.

Gutes Restaurant, aber Zimmer und Sauberkeit enttäuschend
Pros:

Das Personal war freundlich, und das Essen im Restaurant war wirklich gut. Das Hotel ist zudem leicht zu finden, und direkt gegenüber gibt es kostenlose Parkplätze (allerdings nicht zum Hotel gehörig).

Cons:

Leider gibt es einiges zu bemängeln. Der Zugang zu den Zimmern führt direkt durch den Gastraum des Restaurants – man muss mit Koffern und Gepäck zwischen den essenden Gästen hindurch, was unangenehm ist. Das Zimmer selbst war zwar groß mit zwei Doppelbetten, aber das Badezimmer sehr klein, und das Waschbecken befand sich seltsamerweise außerhalb des Bads, im Zimmer selbst.

Die Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotel ließ stark zu wünschen übrig: fleckige Teppichböden, und als mir versehentlich etwas unters Bett fiel, stellte sich heraus, dass dort offensichtlich seit Langem nicht geputzt wurde – ebenso hinter den Vorhängen. Die Betten waren zudem unbequem, eines sogar kaputt und notdürftig mit einer Verstärkung unter dem Lattenrost geflickt, sodass man ständig zur Mitte hin rutschte. Der einzige Mülleimer im Zimmer war noch mit altem Müll gefüllt, der offenbar nicht entsorgt worden war.

Insgesamt hat das Hotel Potenzial, aber es fehlt spürbar an grundlegender Sauberkeit und Instandhaltung, um wirklich wettbewerbsfähig zu sein. Die hohe Bewertung auf Booking dürfte eher auf das gute Restaurant zurückzuführen sein als auf das Hotel selbst.
