Pros:

Out of 14 accomodations along our cycle route from Basel to Rotterdam it was our least favourite unfortunately. We did like the breakfast and the bicycle storage but that was it.

Cons:

Totally overpriced for a starter compared with 14 other accommodation before and after. Although it was known we were cycling since asking for cycle storage, on the day we received a message to say restaurant is closed on Mo-Tu. Not great after 100km cycle and my husbands birthday evening. Luckily 15min walk to another restaurant and persuading them with a full guest list. Also, room had no kettle for coffee/tea. "Please get from restaurant" ...well that is closed and nobody present other than getting instructions over phone. If one doesn't have a phone...Felt like an Air B&B on arrival which I wouldn't have booked if known. Owners definitely have to think about their customer service for staying there when they aren't there. At present would not recommend to book since it states has a restaurant.

Echte persoonlijke gastvrijheid aan de rand van het Reichswald
Pros:

Prachtig gelegen direct aan het Reichswald in het rustige Frasselt. Ontvangst op terras met een altbier was top en supervriendelijk. Na een lange wandeltocht van 26 km uit Nijmegen smaakte die prima! Daarna lekker gedoucht en echt heerlijk gegeten: het aspergemenu is een aanrader, alles met aandacht en liefde bereid en geserveerd. In het avondzonnetje op het zijterras echt genoten van de gastvrijheid. Ontbijt was ruim en voor onze groep wat vroeger, veel dank voor de goede zorgen!

Cons:

3x 2-persoonskamer werd een vierpersoons waarvan 1 bedbank. De bedbank met topper sliep echt niet lekker, te smal. Verder alles super in orde met keukenblokje en ruime badkamer.

Heerlijk, goed geslapen en lekker gegeten. Supervriendelijk personeel
Pros:

De kamer was prima, netjes en comfortabel. Het gasthaus ligt naast de kerk, dus je hoort de kerkklok. Het eten was prima, ontbijt ook, dus zeker een aanrader. Er is in het dorp verder niets te beleven, maar dat was voor mij geen probleem

Cons:

Misschien iets modernere tv, zodat je ook iets kan streamen. Beetje klein wastafeltje

Just right for us.
Pros:

Lovely personal hotel. In a quiet area. They have a Large carpark to the rear of the hotel which is free to park in.

The room was big with a table and sofa as well as comfy double bed.

The staff were very polite and helpful, they were patient and understanding with our poor attempts to speak German.

Breakfast was very nice with a range of meats and cheeses, and a selection of breads. There was also choice of hot options to go with. The coffee was also good.

I would be happy to stay here again.

Cons:

The only coment I can make is that the shower had a leak. So there was a lot of water on the bathroom floor as a result. Hopefully it can be fixed before it causes damage.

Prima tussenstop Walk of Wisdom
Pros:

Prima locatie vlakbij de Walk of Wisdom. Hartelijke ontvangst door de eigenaar. De kamer is van alle gemakken voorzien. Prima verblijf gehad!

Cons:

Jammer dat het restaurant niet open was op de dag dat ik er was (dinsdag). Dat had ik graag eens willen proberen.

Fijn verblijf in een mooie bosrijke omgeving
Pros:

Uiterst vriendelijke ontvangst. Prima kamer met heerlijk bed.
Goed verzorgd ontbijt. Erg lekker gegeten in t restaurant.
Kortom uitstekende overnachting

Cons:

Detail: Geen koffie op de kamer. Wel thee. Nespresso apparaat op de gang waarbij je wel 1 euro moet afrekenen voor een cup.

Empfehlenswert und gerne wieder !
Pros:

Abgesehen von der Unterkunft, ist das Restaurant eine echte Empfehlung. Sowohl das Abendessen, als auch das Frühstück überdurchschnittlich !!
