The hotel is located in a pedestrian zone where unauthorized vehicle access is restricted. Guests arriving by car should ring the bell and introduce themselves to the police agent (located at the entrance to the pedestrian zone) as guests of the hotel.

Chambre simple mais confortable , à deux pas de la cathédrale et du centre ville . Bon petit déjeuner. J'ai bien visité Chartres et par le train j'ai visité Orleans ,les gares étaient proches des centres, facilement accessibles à pied .
Pour la maison Picassiette ,un peu excentrée, bus facile pour le retour .
Pour ceux en voiture ,parking à l'hôtel.

Die Lage, direkt an der Kathedrale, ist unschlagbar. Parkplätze im Hof sind wunderbar und das Frühstück ist auch sehr gut. Schön für uns, dass Hunde willkommen sind. Wir durften mit Hund im Klostergarten frühstücken.
Un emplacement idéal dans la ville, au calme, dans un très beau cadre . Très bon petit déjeuner.

Close to cathedral
Excellent location, close to the cathedral. Great communication and directions. Very friendly and good service. Breakfast was very good and convenient.

Die Ausstattung ist sehr einfach, aber sauber.
Die Anfahrt und das Parken ist nicht so einfach, aber machbar. Zusätzlich 15 € für den Hund ist etwas übertrieben.
The room was lovely - light and airy with a great view towards city and beyond. The driving directions we were emailed were very accurate and really helped to navigate to the hotel and we got one of the last parking spaces. The location was brilliant so we could easily walk to the Cathedrale and the environs - a beautiful place.
We paid the extra for breakfasts, which were nice, but it was very busy in the confined breakfast area with a lot of delegates there for meetings. It was hard to find a space to sit and join the queue for the food.
The hotel is situated right below the Cathedral which is spectacular especially with the illuminations at night time. The location is great as it is also close to all the lovely shops and restaurants and only a ten minute walk to the train station.
The hotel itself is basic enough but spotlessly clean, had everything we needed for our two night stay.. Loved the large windows in the bedroom. The bed was really comfortable and the area was really quiet too so it was easy to get to sleep.
Its located in the top of a pedestrianised street with narrow streets leading to it but the hotel gave us detailed directions and instructions for the bollard so that was very helpful. The parking area at the hotel isn't large so I would suggest getting there early to get a space.
I would stay at this hotel again.
