Extrem entspannend und idyllisch.
Pros:

Das familiäre, vertraute. Das sehr gute Restaurant direkt untendran. Es war ruhig und sehr entpannend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es war alles so weit weg von der Hektik im Alltag.

Cons:

Es hatte keine Möglichkeiten für Leute aus dem Ausland einfach Handys und elektronische Geräte aufzuladen. Keine USB-Stecker. Man musste nach einem Adapter fragen (aber den hat man bekommen).

Super fint - var afsted med min niece og vi synes det var skønt ude på landet.

Det var gammelt men virkelig hyggeligt.

Cons:

Toiletdøren kunne ikke lukkes og toilettet løb.

Très authentique! Les gens y sont très gentils et accueillants. Ce qui est proposé au déjeuner ou aux repas est très bon et FAIT MAISON!

Very close to WB studios and easy to get to.

Cons:

Wasn't your fault but it was during that 3 day heatwave and the room was so hot it was uncomfortable. Understand a listed building so no permanent airconditioning unit but the room was very hot.

Top séjour et personnel d’une extrême gentillesse
Pros:

Petit déjeuner anglais typique, salle de restaurant qui nous plonge dans l’ambiance d’un pub anglais, personnel plus que sympathique. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement. Nous en garderons de très bons souvenirs, d’autant plus que notre bébé y a fait ses premiers pas !

Little out of the way but I did know that when I booked. That said Ubers are super quick to location and a short ride to Watford centre so didn’t bother us.

The hotel owner were very accommodating, gave me early check in and also help me with printing and Uber rides. Really appreciate.

Juste sous notre chambre : concert après minuit, mon mari, ma fille de 10 ans et moi avons eu beaucoup de mal à dormir
Le petit déjeuner n’est pas servi avant 9h du matin… Je n’avais jamais vu cela dans aucun établissement quelque soit le pays! Quand on a dit qu’on avait rendez-vous à 9h au studio, Harry Potter…on nous a répondus que nous pouvions déjeuner ailleurs.
Nous sommes donc partis au studio le ventre vide.
La chambre n’était pas propre, notamment la baignoire avec des poils de barbe notamment.
120 euros pour cette prestation : non merci
Bref, cela n’a pas été une belle expérience.

We had a wonderful family stay at Kings Lodge Hotel, a charming bed and breakfast in a perfect location near the Harry Potter Studio. Two families stayed together, and it was an absolutely lovely experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and full of character, which made the whole stay feel very special and memorable.

The staff were excellent — friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. Everything was well taken care of, and we felt genuinely looked after throughout our stay. The hotel has a great vibe, and its proximity to the studio made it especially convenient for our family trip. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Kings Lodge Hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful place with a magical feel.
