Location was ideal for visiting Ronnie Scotts in soho, a stone throw away from Leicester Square and a short walk to Embankment. Ramen spot open till midnight on the same block, room had A/C, access to a balcony to enjoy views of the city. Room was clean and just what I needed

We were given the option to switch rooms so we could have air con (given it was yet another heatwave). Air con was an absolute life saver. Staff were nice. Location perfect for lots of theatres and eating spots. I can't comment on the cafe within the hotel as we didn't try.
The lift was out of order, the building itself is quite higgledy-piggledy. Room was very small (6'2 husband had his feet on a wall while lying in bed, even with his legs bent slightly), but that was the compromise we made for the air con so can't complain too much. The bathroom was clean, however, for ladies with a larger bum, the loo was quite a squeeze - even hubby struggled
- Excellent location
- Air conditioning in the room (as long as you're not on floor one at the minute)
- Able to drop bags off early free of charge
- Water and tea/coffee in the room
- Breakfast available on site
- Bed was comfortable
- Bedding was clean and crisp
- No lift working (seems this is not a new problem) had emailed and asked to be put on a lower floor, lady on check in desk in the morning said she'd ensure we were on floor two for accessibility and to ensure air con when rooms were allocated - checked in was in fourth floor) it was a trek! Did offer us a room at an alternative hotel, however after a long day we didn't want to walk with luggage for ten minutes.
- Bathroom section of room was extremely small, if you're tall or wide it'll be a squeeze
- The carpets around communal areas were heavily stained and dirty, looked grim
Great location, clean and comfortable room, very friendly staff
First night the air condition was broken . Only second night we get new room
Would have got a higher score but no air conditioning and windowless room it was too hot
Great value, super central, and the room had all I needed.
Only downside: the elevator was out of service, and I was on the fifth floor — manageable for me, but it would’ve been a real problem for anyone with mobility issues. Worth knowing before you book.
Amazing location, perfect if you’re going to watch a show.
The bathroom situation is awkward if you’re sharing a room - the bathroom you can inside and can hear. It’s glass and is frosted but you can still see an outline.

Camera minuscola, scelta per una finestra che era un finestrino su un corridoio interno
The location was spot on for us
Heisen virket ikke.

air conditioning in room, but we understand that is in progress.
The location was fantastic
The room was very small. The photos provided when booking made me think it would be slightly more spacious. I could only take two steps between the bedroom and the wet room. Thankfully there was a cutaway under the bed for my suitcase, otherwise I would not have been able to open it and walk around. The wet room door was not water proof and this cause water on the floor of the room which was difficult to clean with the limited towels provided. The lift was out of order during my stay and I was on the 4th floor. Thankfully the reception staff carried my bag up upon check in but I had to carry it downstairs in the early morning when I checked out.
Location was great and staff lovely
Top Lage! Freundliches Personal und ein angenehmes Abiente besonders im Z Cafe.
Nichts.
The central London location is convenient very near Leicester Square.
We arrived at 11pm after train issues and were warned by staff that our pre-booked room had no air conditioning. We had no choice as it was 11pm - except there was no alternative offered, so apparently the warning was the solution. We booked this months ago.
We opened the door to a 5ft x 10ft cupboard with a double bed, comedy toilet and a surprisingly decent shower. The bed took up so much space we had to side-shuffle around the room. The shower was actually the only place you could stand up and briefly feel free!
This was the real issue- the room was a 30°C furnace, with no aircon, window or airflow. Opening the door was like opening an oven, with five other room doors facing you and trapping the heat. Two fans were provided, but there was barely room for one - and the unused one was caked in dust.
Two people slowly being poached in a cupboard while a dusty fan circulated our sweat.
We were offered another room the next day, but moving meant losing much of our only full day in London swapping repacking and decanting. The room was also only cleaned every two days, meaning no cleaning during our stay.
Then came the compensation: £30 worth of complimentary breakfast for two!
Except it was coffee from a jug, cereal and the one triangle of processed cheese or the two pieces of ham that was left at 830am the next day- with anything else costing extra from a cheeky menu on the table, surrounded by the depressed faces of fellow guests. There was some cakes also. The whole area was about the width of my forearm.
Tiny cupboard. No AC. No window. Dusty fan. No cleaning. £30 for a cheese triangle and a menu to order extra on top of the £30!!!
Genuinely one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The staff just walked around looking guilty.
At least the shower was nice.
