Lovely location, fabulous shower
Rooms booked were too far apart. I am in my 60s so going up and downstairs to see my son was really annoying

Such a friendly welcome to Leicester from reception. Really made me feel welcome. The room was fantastic in a really lovely (loveliest?) part of the city, the cathedral area which is really quite different to the rest of the city and possibly the best place to be based; close to all you would want to see. My stay in Leicester would have been very different if I chose a different place to stay as some are in shopping centres or near the football ground. Really liked the Lanes area and around the Lodge. Nice details in the room and one of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in, thanks to the behind the scenes staff. Thank you for the stay and look forward to returning some time.

The location was exceptional. Really quiet at night but our bedroom window was opposite the Cathedral. Woke up to the sound of bells which was lovely. Parking was included and easy to find right next to the hotel. Allowed us to stayed parked beyond check out time so we could get some brunch. All the corridors smelt lovely and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Mini fridge with water in the room and some fresh milk, biscuits and tea and coffee. Dyson fan which was great. Hot water and plentiful. Very nicely decorated
There was a glass shelf above the bathroom sink but it covered most of the sink so washing your face was impossible and even brushing your teeth was a bit tricky

Feels very nitpicky but the windowsills were visibly dusty which didn’t impact my stay but I think it’s a quick clean up task that would enhance customer satisfaction

Central location with included car parking was ideal. Clear directions to the propery were good.
Accomodation was comfortable and little touches like the welcome tray and bottled water were good additions.
No dislikes
The location was excellent - across the road from the cathedral and close to the King Richard III Visitor Centre and the Guildhall Museum. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The secure private car park was very convenient.
If we return to Leicester, we are very likely to stay there again.
St Martin's Lodge does not provide food, including breakfast. We knew that when we booked and it was not a problem. There are many nearby places that serve good breakfasts of all types; the staff at reception were very helpful with advice.
