Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable, staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely location too
Position of toilet roll holder in family room bathroom , very odd
It was in a good location for what I needed
The room was extremely hot. As I had to leave the windows open the traffic kept me awake. Not a very restful night
The staff, hotel and food were all lovely. We had a wonderful stay!
There were no TV's in the bar/ lobby which we were fine with but just so you are aware.
It was a convenient location
Booked a family room to so that there were two beds for me and my daughter. Arrived and told the room was ready but when we went up it was not made up. As we were going to a funeral we had to leave out bags, tell the staff and leave. Came back four hours later to find nothing had been done. They moved us to another room with only one double bed.
Went back downstairs to find the check in form left on the bar with all my personal information on for anyone to access. Had to go and find a staff member to request they move it.
Great location close to Leeds Bradford Airport.
Good sized twin bedroom with fantastically comfortable beds and quality bedding.
Ensuite shower room too.
Cooked breakfast was included in my rate.
Floorboards in room 11 creaked badly everywhere, even in ensuite..... disturbing the other person if one moved.
Skylight windows not adequately curtained for summer.... light pouring in from 4am.
Breakfast, while tasty, was limited in choice and quantity.
Location
Room was noisy from downstairs music
Waited 1hr 20mins for 1 main meal
Front of house attentive,
Food poor and cold
Great accomodation near the airport
Staff were not friendly.
The room smelt of bad odours, seemed to be a lack of maintenance, very creaky floor, no sound proofing of walls , could hear next room very clear,
Window opening was restricted, unbelievably hot, tried to change to another room but wasn’t available, asked for a fan but wasn’t available
excellent full breakfast
The pub is in a great location and the setting is beautiful. It’s clear that the cleaning staff work super hard as the room was immaculately clean. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and the shower was very good.
I’m not sure if we caught them on a bad weekend but they seemed to be very short staffed. I heard multiple customers complaining about slow service and the lack of staff. It was surprising to regularly see just one member of staff behind the bar on a weekend. To order a drink, you could be waiting at the bar for a long time without even acknowledgment from the staff that they would serve you as soon as they can. Then the food we ordered (Caesar salad and onion rings) took so long that I had to chase it up. When it came, the salad only had lettuce and large tomatoes and none of the other ingredients listed on the menu. Then it was slavered in so much dressing that it was inedible. As standard to our experience, there was no one available to speak to about it so we just left it. The pub has so much potential to be amazing, if more staff are put on in busy periods and they are trained a bit better in customer service.
