Car park was an utter shambles
The hosts were welcoming, and the dinner was very good. Peebles is a beautiful town to visit
The hotel is showing it's age and would benefit from some renovation
Hotel con ristorante nel paesino di Peebles con personale accogliente e gentile : hanno fatto il check in appena siamo arrivati alle 13 senza farci aspettare le l'orario indicato delle 15. Stanza ampia, pulita e accogliente con letto matrimoniale e 2 lettini singoli e angolo con bollitore, biscottini e bustine di tè e caffè che ci hanno rifocillato dopo la passeggiata sotto la pioggia. Colazione con ampia scelta sia dolce che salata ...peccato siamo dovuti ripartire col bus troppo presto ...,

Det var fuktigt och luktade fukt. Heltäckningsmattorna var gamla och ofräscha. Duschen saknade tryck. Hotellet skulle må bra av en renovering

Just hotel was a little dated, but absolutely spotless. Couldn't fault it,our room was small but adequate
Family room is great, it is at the top of the hotel on its own so no neighbours and nice and quiet.
Breakfast was lovely and tasty, great value.
The floor was quite creaky and the bathroom window didn't open but minor issues.
The shower was great, there was parking round the back and it was in a great location. The breakfast was lovely too.
There was no menu to know what was on the breakfast.
The waitress didn't seem very approachable.
The hotel is basically in the middle of the village, so close to everything you need. Sunday lunch was very nice but a bit overpriced at £22 for one course. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean.
There were no privacy curtains at the window and it was overlooked by the house next door and a few people from the hotel walked past and could have seen in. The shower cubicle was very small and the shower control and shower head had mildew on it.

Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Food was good. Traffic noise due to it being on the main road. Needs a bit of a spruce up inside and out, but it's good for a one night stay
