Rooms can be accessed via the internal stairs as well, whenever the pub is open - from 11:00 until 23:00. Please note that access to the accommodations is via a single-story staircase and may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Please note the following restaurant opening hours:
Monday to Sunday: 12:00 to 14:30 and 18:00 to 21:00

Please note that The Black Dog is closed between 14:30 and 17:00 from Monday until Saturday. Guests will not be able to check-in during this time, unless arranged in advance.

Please note that early check-in is possible from 13:00 to 14:30.

Lovely location, reasonably priced, good food and comfortable bed. All staff were extremely accommodating.
Pros:

The Black Dog Inn is a lovely country pub. I was greeted by Tracey who was very welcoming. My room was lovely, furnished very well. Everything I needed was provided.

Cons:

There was nothing.

Trevlig Inn
Pros:

Trevligt Inn i en liten by på landet. Gullig och tillmötesgående personal. Stor säng vilket var skönt, då det ofta är väldigt smala dubbelsängar i England.

Cons:

Minus att inte wifi funkade på vårt rum, bara nere i baren.

Excellent location to visit the tank Museum and surrounding area. Staff are exceptional!
Pros:

Everything!! The staff were very friendly and efficient. Maisy in particular looked after us so well in the restaurant. One of us is coeliac and the restaurant were well organised to deal with her dietary requirements. Free parking is a bonus and the room was good size.

Cons:

The Cider was too strong but that was not the fault of the pub.

Pros:

Plenty of places to park in private car park. Friendly staff. Lots of little extras in the room. Good quality bedding and towels. Really lovely place.

Very enjoyable short stay
Pros:

Situated in a very pleasant village with easy access to the A35 and Weymouth nearby. Staff were very friendly, room was clean, comfortable and nicely maintained. We had Breakfast and lunch at the pub and it was very good.

Cons:

The only downside was the busy road outside with no pavement on either side of the road for a short distance.

value for money, welcoming staff and great food. Overall a great place to stay
Pros:

Great B&B to explore the Lulworth Cove / Durdle door. The guy managing the Inn (I think John) is great. Very helpful and & welcoming. The breakfast was great and overall food quality was pretty good.

Cons:

In-room wifi coverage could be better.

Pros:

La struttura è molto carina, sia nello spazio interno che quello esterno. Esternamente ci sono giochi per bambini.
La camera molto spaziosa con due stanze ampie, il bagno più grande rispetto ad altre strutture.
La colazione fatta al momento e inclusa nel prezzo è molto buona e con offerta varia, sia per una colazione classica anglosassone ma non solo.
Abbiamo cenato al pub, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
