Staff is very friendly, and the service was excellent. the food was delicious and plentiful. Location excellent. We were staying for our 30th wedding anniversary and got upgraded to the Jefferson suite, which was very much appreciated. Very clean hotel. Would recommend and will stay again

I was at the carvery today and have been on a number of occasions before, but unfortunately I was very disappointed with my experience this time.
The turkey and gammon were not cooked properly, and the chef appeared to be rushing and simply throwing the meat onto the plates. The meat was also being cut against the grain, which made it very difficult to eat.
I have enjoyed coming here previously, but today’s experience was very disappointing and not up to the standard I have come to expect.

The hotel is outside the town and therefore quiet. You can walk down to a great beach. Staff were lovely.
The hotel does not meet the standards you would expect for the price charged. The carpets had a musty smell, the tables in both the bar and dining room were sticky, and the quality of the breakfast was very disappointing. Overall, it did not offer good value for money.
