Pros:

Overall a pleasurable stay but some little things that let it down

The room was outstanding and the staff were exceptional

Cons:

The bath robes were one size and certainly didn’t fit anyone beyond medium size. I can’t understand why the hotel charges car parking of £12 per night if the booking is made via a third party. When you are paying £290 a night for a room I would expect car parking to be included. Also the tap water was cloudy when you run it and yet there is a notice in the room to say the water is safe to drink

Spa treatment
Pros:

I had a fantastic experience at the spa here. My massage therapist, Lucy, was super friendly and gave the most professional full body massage experience. It was so relaxing, I left feeling lighter and genuinely less tense (especially in my neck and upper back). She even gave me some helpful advice and Elemis product suggestions! I’d definitely recommend getting a treatment here to top off a relaxing hotel retreat.

Disappointed
Pros:

Location and onsite spa

Cons:

Did not rate this hotel 5*, had to ask for a room move.
The initial room was grubby and not 5* quality (marks on walls, very unclean head board, condensation on windows)
The spa was good but also feels dated and in need of upgrade.

Loved it but feel price was too high plus parking
Pros:

Disappointed about having to pay extra for parking!
Would have been nice to have air con in room and water or ice.

Pros:

Everything, the elegant hotel decorations, the fabulous staff, the warm feelings, the wonderful terrace, the quite rooms and the amazing bathtub in the balcony. The free transfer by the Bentley is a brilliant idea.
The area has exceptional nature and is ideal for detox 😍.
Thanks for the hotel management which made our stay remembered.
