Staff very pleasant and eager to
Pros:

Room was nice bed comfortable Breakfast was warm. Bacon and mushrooms cooked way before us order it.
Dinner eat two nights again could have been hotter . Carrots put as off to bigger chucks very off putting . Better sliced

Cons:

The food could have been much hotter in all meals. Side plates for the toast in the mornings instead of using napkins. .

Overall was an excellent stay, staff were what made the difference.
Pros:

Staff were fantastic-cheerful & very helpful.

Cons:

Beds were a bit too hard & walls thin so could hear next room even though they were only talking.

Excellent stay, a friendlier and better appointed option to similarly priced chain hotels.
Pros:

Good staff, nice check in, nice greetings every day, a happy and welcoming place
Spacious, clean rooms
Great location, good car parking, plenty of space in the room

Cons:

Had to rush to get there due to emails saying 10pm was check-in cut off, but it wasn't!
Bed mattresses a bit too hard.
One breakfast (pancakes) was poor - felt microwaved and they'd been done so long they'd gone hard, almost inedible. The other two breakfasts were wonderful though.

Foxglove at Kirkburton
Pros:

Clean spacious room and lots of parking is a bonus. Friendly staff.

Cons:

A very hard bed made it a long night. Also with lots of space in the room it could have been much more comfortable with an extra chair. Breakfast was terrible - so much vinegar in the water ruined the poached eggs. Disappointed.

All in all a pleasant stay at the Foxglove.
Pros:

The Foxglove staff were friendly and the pub itself was full of character with a large outdoor area and dog friendly in some area’s inside.
The room we booked was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
We had our breakfast and evening meals in the dog friendly section and the meal’s were tasty and well presented .

Cons:

Probably our own fault but we booked the accessible accommodation which had a wet room but the shower was too low with a seat so a little awkward to use if you are tall.
Although the full English breakfast was very good it was a little limited on the other choices you might expect with no cereals, fruit and yogurt’s available.
The breakfast service on the final day was very slow we waited over 30 minutes for it to arrive after ordering.
