The staff were fantastic, very polite and efficient.

We did not have breakfast. Dinner was fine although thought the meats were overdone both nights, ie the salmon and the duck.
The internet was poor.
Rooms are good size for family. Breakfast is excellent as usual
Hairdryer was slow.
Location, convenience
Needs a substantial overhaul
No air con and in this latest heatwave, it was like sleeping in a sauna
The staff were amazing, special shout out to Lauren M for great advice and support.
Hot day, lovely outside area and inside full of olde world charm. Food really good.

Didn't have any sleep as there was a grinding noise coming from behind the shower area. Noise was every 20 seconds throughout the night. Both my wife and I didn't sleep. Next morning complained to the manager. Both of us went to look in the Maintenance cupboard which is between our room 14 and 12.the noise was coming from the pipes and at least 1 of the pipes was leaking. Many pipes had green colour over them showing leaks had been there. Manager said that there shouldn't have been any problems as the plumbing had recently been refurbished. He said he would get it fixed but if the pipes had been refu3wby weren't the pipes checked before any customers arrived. Very poor management
Lovely garden and it was spotlessly clean
Our breakfasts were dissapointing. Bacon overcooked. Eggs poached undercooked.
The setting is quite nice and is close to a stream and tall trees. This can make some rooms dark. We had a good quality evening meal and the breakfast was freshly prepared from quality products
Room 4 is a little dark for my liking and could do with more lights but would stay again.
