All in all a pleasant stay at the Foxglove.
Pros:

The Foxglove staff were friendly and the pub itself was full of character with a large outdoor area and dog friendly in some area’s inside.
The room we booked was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
We had our breakfast and evening meals in the dog friendly section and the meal’s were tasty and well presented .

Cons:

Probably our own fault but we booked the accessible accommodation which had a wet room but the shower was too low with a seat so a little awkward to use if you are tall.
Although the full English breakfast was very good it was a little limited on the other choices you might expect with no cereals, fruit and yogurt’s available.
The breakfast service on the final day was very slow we waited over 30 minutes for it to arrive after ordering.

Good Hotel and restaurant and good value for money.
Pros:

It is always a pleasure to stay here when visiting family. The staff are very friendly and we like the restaurant and food that is served. our room was basic but clean.

Pros:

The accommodation was spotless and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean with a large modern shower with good quality toiletries. We're very fussy about mattress firmness and our room had a very comfortable bed that suited us.
Most of the room electric sockets had USB ports that made charging devices easy. We were in a quiet location away from the main pub building but within a short walk of the restaurant and bar which was ideal .

The food overall was excellent, well cooked and presented by friendly efficient staff.

Cons:

Another chair or relaxing seat in the room would have been useful as my wife is disabled and needs a reasonably high seat to sit on. There is ample room for a small sofa in this large accommodation. This is a minor point in what was a lovely room.

Disappointing and not good value for money.

The staff were all helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The room was dated. Pillows not comfortable. The food menu was limited and expensive for what it was. Had to wait a long time for food to arrive. Would stay elsewhere if in the area again.
