Bedroom needs redecorating and staircase.

Stairs to rooms steep and narrow and badly in need of redecoration. Room was rather small and poor soundproofing.
It's the first time we have stayed here. It's not far from oulton park race track. The room was very clean and well equipped with some nice touches like a tiny wall mounted shelf by beds to put cups, phone specs etc. Usb ports on sockets, hairdryer. Bed was very comfortable. We slept really well. We had a good full english breakfast day 1, bacon butty, and orange juice to take out day 2 as we needed a really early start. Had a nice meal in the restaurant 2nd eve. The best thing about this place are the staff. They were all happy, pleasant, welcoming, and chatty with a can-do attitude. This must be a family business. Hubby was a bit unwell, and they bent over backwards to accommodate us. They just couldn't have been nicer. Will definitely be our 1st choice place to stay if we are in the area. A great shame they cannot accomodate a car with trailer in their car park. Off road parking no issue with just a car on its own. Breakfast would have been better with some buffet style toast, marmalade , fruit and yoghurt etc. Top up of tea and coffee wd have been nice. Better if breakfast not included in price and booked on arrival once schedule known. None of this would stop us going back to this lovely accommodation.

By their own admission the decor is tired and about to be refreshed but this matter as it was still a very comfortable place to stay
