The food was really nice, room was clean and had handwashing, hand cream and shower gel. Shower was nice and warm. Comfortable beds, clean bedding. Nice temp in room dispute it being hot day as got a dorma window. Tea and coffee making facilities.
information on arrival was helpful but we were told check out was 10am when queried over breakfast it was corrected to 11am as on booking .com . Room could do with redecorating as wallpaper is peeling off the walls. Not for disabled people as steep stairs to bedrooms.
The staff and breakfast was very good .
The rooms need to be refurbished old carpet wall paper hanging off just not good
Friendly staff. Decent local ale. Big beer garden. Good walking area. Good dinner and breakfast
Tiny toilet. Low beams in room entry.
This seems a well managed “Pub with a few rooms”. Food was excellent. Room was adequate (a tad cramped within a very old property), but clean and with a good shower. Staff good. Huge beer garden at rear - but no noise from that (nor road) in room.
Friendly staff, good location, good value.
Breakfast was very enjoyable, as were all the meals we had.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating.
The wallpaper in the bedroom has seen better days.
The check-in, bar, parking and restaurant were good with a selection of basic food (all we wanted after a long drive)
The room was cramped and up a steep flight of stairs. Not enough room for two people.
Great little B&B and was perfect location for us.
The Staff were absolutely amazing and made our stay very comfortable and we felt very welcome.
The breakfast was great and it was such a bonus to have the bar and outdoor bar area to hang out in in the heat .
There was nothing I didn’t like but other visitors should be aware that the rooms are smaller being an old English style pub.
Lovely pub, food was excellent and all the staff were lovely.
Room in the eaves a bit tight if your tall.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Everything was very good
Nothing
Good great good Quality well presented. All staff friendly professional and helpful Good value B&B
Decor in room a little tired altho relaxing colour scheme attention needed to wallpaper and carpet
The room was small but adequate for one person;
Comfortable bed and reasonable shower-room;
Wi-fi was good, but after log-in route to access;
Convenient location and well maintained car park,
The breakfast was disappointing; there was little
preparation and the menu should be much clearer;
I was the only diner and felt rather awkward; it was
pleasant but a feeling that it was too much trouble.
Perhaps the breakfast should be an optional extra?
The property was a good location for us. We wanted to break our journey in Cheshire and the Tollemache wasn’t too far off the motorway.
We took a walk from the hotel and found Bunbury locks about 15 minutes away. A lovely canal walk and great fun watching canal boats rising up and down through the locks.
The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. The dinner was excellent and competitively priced. Breakfast was excellent too.
I still don’t know how to pronounce the name of the hotel!
I stupidly left my charging cables because the electrical sockets were at floor level and I missed seeing them so low down as I left the hotel.
