The property sure is a vibe! Feels like club. A creative and vibrant feel. Modern and clean too.
Difficult to sleep due to the noise, but earplugs are provided.
Female dorm was tidy and spacious enough with some storage. Really comfortable bed, everything worked well and had a good night sleep. Clean bathroom and facilities. Tentative and friendly staff on the counter at all times! Walkable to most locations
I arrived late at night and the surrounding area made me feel a bit uncomfortable as a female traveller however the next day / when I became familiar with the area it was okay.
The staff are amazing! I really felt cared for which is awesome, and they were there to help with anything at any time. The location is great to get to places, I appreciated the bus station being so close, and all in all, it was nice and clean, with everything you might need, except for a kitchen.
I had no bad surprises, just stuff I knew from reviews that might not be perfect (for example the noise at night, again, there being no kitchen, and the sandwich style triple bunk beds where you can't really sit) - but obviously, I still booked it, so I'm not blaming the hostel in any way. :)
I just wouldn't have thought it would have that much of a bar-vibe, with loads of guys drinking beer in the shared area, playing pool etc, so there wasn't really a quiet place to have a meal or a call. But for three nights, that was totally okay.
Staff were incredibly nice. The beds were also very comfortable.
Bathrooms smelled pretty bad due to a lack of ventilation.
