The bathroom wasn’t the best. The shower was like a game of roulette it was either freezing cold or scolding hot. There was also a very unpleasant smell in the hotel. We were on the top floor and could smell it but the lower you went the stronger it was. There were air fresheners around the hotel but unfortunately it did not cover the smell.

When arrived no one was there to check us in, I tried to phone the number a couple of times and eventually got a call back and was told she had popped out. However there was no security at all she told me my name and then gave me a code to open the key safe (i could’ve been anybody). There was a very unpleasant smell throughout the hotel. Room was very small, was a squish. Can hear other people throughout the hotel throughout the night/morning.

Could have done with some coffee sachets in the room, and a hairdryer, but that’s being fussy. It was good!

Seems to be very noisy, not a lot of soundproofing, rang number on the day but got no answer. I never seen a member of staff or the owner.

Disgusting experience at the Lilly Hotel in Blackpool. We were promised our room would be ready for 2pm, only to be left waiting around until after 3:30pm before they finally let us in. Travelling with children made it even worse.

To make matters worse, our “family room” was FOUR flights of stairs up with no proper access for a pushchair, and the hallways were ridiculously narrow. Absolute nightmare trying to carry bags and get the pram upstairs. No help offered either.

When we finally got into the room, it was filthy. The bedding had marks all over it, including what looked like dried blood. The towels were old, stained and smelled unclean. The whole room had a horrible damp, stale smell, and honestly the entire hotel stinks.

The shower was unusable — freezing cold one second, boiling hot the next, then back to freezing again. Completely unsafe, especially with children.

The photos online are completely misleading too. None of the things shown in the pictures were there, including the “Sea Brooks crisps” welcome items. It feels like false advertising.

I genuinely do not understand how this hotel has positive reviews because after staying here they seem completely fake. One of the worst places we have ever stayed and absolutely not worth the money. Avoid at all costs.
