The hotel is very run down our beds were horrendous like sleeping on cardboard boxes. Screws protruding from the door strip which put a hole in my friends sock. Carpet was very worn. Pillows on the bed were extremely thin and not very clean also bottom sheet wasnt very clean either. The carpet up the stairs is awful and smells like an old carpet. they advertise luggage storage but they havent got anywhere for luggage unless you want to leave your cases by the bar. We weren't happy doing that so they were put in the cellar! All in all its not what we were expecting and it needs a really good revamp EVERYWHERE ⁰

This hotel is a little rundown and in need of an update. The restaurant is fine and very popular and staff there are good. But the spacious rooms are shabby and noise from the road is bad. I realise this is a historic building but appropriate improvements wouldn’t be difficult.
The shower was useless, the room was grubby. Alterations that had been made were not well done. Some hooks for towels would be good, a tray for the tea making things, Wi-Fi that doesn’t keep dropping out, secondary glazing if windows can’t be replaced all would be an improvement.

The shower was very poor, water dribbled out and the bed was at a very weird angle due the the old buildings wonky floors. The bed was comfortable it just wasn't level! 🤪
l'hotel è delizioso e si trova nel pieno centro cittadino. la camera era ampia ed accogliente. il pub dell'hotel super comodo. la nostra camera aveva la vista sulla spiaggia e quindi è stato tutto davvero perfetto. grazie
Liked the hotel are room was not great was at the back near kitchen fan room was not to bad was was expecting more for what we paid but over all not to bad staff where lovely and great food

Windows painted shut so extremely hot in the room.
Accused on departure of not paying for the previous days breakfast, after showing our receipt they had actually overcharged us for previous guests breakfast then I was told there was nothing she could do.
If you want basic at a reasonable rate then it's ok.
