Our restaurant is open from 12pm-3pm 5:30pm-8:30pm (Last Sitting). We have a Full menu available Monday – Saturday ranging from your classic dishes to grills and lighter options. Pre – Booking is advised.
A Sunday Roast menu is available from 12pm-7:30pm – pre-booking is required.
Breakfast is served in our Palm Bar from 7am-9am (Monday – Friday) and 8am-10am (Saturday/Sundays/Bank Holidays)
Afternoon Tea is available on preorder 24 hours in advance – please contact the hotel for more information
Please be aware, a purpose built accommodations block houses the bedrooms which is adjacent to the main Lydiard House building.
On occasions there may be evening functions held at the property during your stay such as a wedding. Please contact the venue for further information.
Early check-in is sometimes available at an extra cost of GBP 20. Late check-out is sometimes available up to 12:00 noon at an extra cost of GBP 20. Please check with the property directly for availability. Please note that although there is no accommodations charge for young children, there will be a breakfast charge.
For Lydiard House Hotel & Conference Center could guests please use the Hay Lane, Grange Park entrance to Lydiard Park. The conference center car park will be signposted which is located just past the Church.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

The location was great, the bar staff were friendly
There was a wedding reception being held and we were located closest to the hall. Without warning that there would be a gathering - it would have been nice to be warned so we could consider going else where. Also tried phoning the hotel prior to checking in to try to work out parking and couldn’t get through after 5 tries
Parking was good.
Staff at breakfast were nice and breakfast itself was good.
It was not what we expected. The pictures don’t reflect the true image. We thought we were going to the main house instead we ended up in what I would call a conference hotel. Dinner was average and the room so small we could barely move.
Calm and peaceful, comfortable bed, tea making facilities in the room and secure motorcycle parking behind the hotel, friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely location with comfortable rooms
The staff made us feel like a inconvenience to the point of being rude when asked. Breakfast was a disaster. We had to ask for glasses, cutlery, refill the orange juice. Took 20 minutes before our order was taken after a reminder that we were still waiting but she insisted on finishing her conversation about her grandson to receptionist.
Also we found it difficult to find. Sat nav was useless with google search. No address was given during conversation. We realied on local knowledge to find the place. But was disappointed to find the carpark occupied by courting couples and local youths. For us it kind of let the side down.

Rooms were not serviced each day and was not informed so we had wet towels day 2!
Breakfast was super slow on day 2 with no apology or explanation. When we went to check out breakfast staff were talking about us disrespectfully!
The location was fabulous. The restaurant was really comfortable. The food was very reasonably priced and good. Room clean and plenty of fluffy towels.
Our room was far too hot. You couldn’t open the window more than half an inch. An annoying alarm light flashing all night above the bed.

The room was too warm. Unfortunately with the way the weather had been this year, air-conditioning is a must for hotels now. Although the outside temperature was only about 20 degrees, the room was still too warm
