Pros:

Love dogs. Beautifully property, in beautiful location with plenty of walks. Lovely dog friendly room and good food

Clean, comfortable and charming Inn on the old Roman road.
Pros:

Lovely old inn; beautiful garden, clean comfortable rooms; friendly staff and good breakfast. It is in a good location for exploring the historic towns and beautiful countryside in the area. Dinner at the restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced. The fish was fresh and served with a yummy sauce on the side. The veggies were simply steamed, but not over cooked—yay.

Cons:

With the warm weather the room was a bit warm and stuffy. One of the old windows was propped open a bit, but the other was jammed shut. In either case there were no screens. It would have been nice to get a little more evening air in the room.

Wonderful stay.
Pros:

Fantastic Inn. Lovely old building. Landlady Dee greeted us and showed us around, so welcoming and friendly. Really set us up for a wonderful stay. All the staff were lovely too. Bathroom amazing.
Will definitely stay again and hopefully for longer.

Cons:

Wary about noise from traffic as on busy road but no issue at all. Secondary glazed windows and long heavy curtains blocked the noise out completely.

Great quirky Cotswolds Hotel. Big room. Helpful staff. Nice gardens.
Pros:

Loved this quirky old 17th C coaching inn - its very Cotswolds. The big bedroom was great and so was the big bathroom. Staff were really helpful. Nice garden siding onto a stream. Great location for visiting all the old towns of the Wolds.

Cons:

The hotel is on a busy main road so there is traffic noise. Had a really comfy bed but the cheap pillows were dreadful. there were cobwebs in the room. But the hotel would have got a 10 out of 10 without the traffic noise.

Lovely place to stay for base in Cotswolds
Pros:

Very charming and special place. Beautiful gardens at rear, by river and enjoyed watching swans and cygnets.

Cons:

Could hear the road but not too bad. It is a main road so was expected.

Lovely stay!!
Pros:

Staff were immediately warm and welcoming, both in hotel and in the bar downstairs. The room was lovely with a picturesque view of the garden. We slept very well all through the night. We had dinner in the bar and experienced genuine and tasty British dishes. Drinks were nice! Best of all were ofcourse the friendly and welcoming atmosphere and the handsome black labrador. We felt very well looked after. The breakfast was served in a lovely dining room and left nothing to be desired.

Cons:

Nothing, everything was lovely.
