Basic.
Pros:

The location was perfect. The room was quiet once the bar downstairs and the beer garden under the window shut. I slept relatively well. The bathroom was functional and passably clean. There was a refreshments tray. The shower was hot.

Cons:

The young woman who checked me in didn't seem to know what she was doing and didn't know when breakfast was served. She didn't tell me where it was, either, leaving me wandering empty rooms in the morning. The car park is locked at 10pm, which is a strict curfew for adults, in my opinion. The flouncy divan cover on the bed was not clean and I could feel every spring in the very lumpy mattress. Mostly, though, there was no WiFi. What sort of accommodation has no WiFi in 2026?!

Pros:

All of it been for the fourth time

Cons:

The way the breakfast is handled now they have new owners and it is self service and you have to ask if you need extras like eggs or toast. When we have been before you were severed at your table with a freshly cooked breakfast tea and coffe pots too. The tea and coffee are now in glass pots o a warmer and not very hot and the tea is stewed and not very hot.
