Beautiful building, very professional and helpful staff, breakfast was excellent
We had a double bed, but it comprised of two singles joined together, not ideal, sleeping impacted
Wonderful location,but very busy high st/junction outside our bedroom. So easy to walk around and amazing history especially Market Square area Guildhall a must and historic big top for concert in walking distance 😀. Also historic pub in Cocklefield nearby good food.

It was our anniversary and a card was left in our room with complimentary fudge and that evening in the bar a plate with happy anniversary written in sweet sauce Ruth chocolate and strawberry was presented to us ! Nice touches
Bed a touch too small . Would try and book a room with a bigger bed next time
Beautiful old building
Would have preferred to eat in the more informal restaurant but possibly not space when we wanted to eat so ended up feeling very uncomfortable in the overly formal restaurant
We have stayed many times, The rooms are good , food is always good and the location is good for us.
The cost , thats all. There is nothing not to like. !!

Excellent and attentive staff, kind and friendly. Stunning room with a four poster bed. Exceptional breakfast and good menu. Stan and Suzanne were outstanding.
We couldn't fault much, I wished for a small fridge in the room as we have a young baby and needed a place to store milk.
The scrambled egg at breakfast was very small but I'm nit picking as it really was beautiful.

A beautiful hotel set in the sleepy village of Lavenham. We loved the spa located next door. The hotel is on the high street and has good off street parking

Absolutely beautiful. Staff were excellent, and the atmosphere was totally relaxed. Will definitely return.
Historic building in a central village location
Some parts are looking a bit shabby - tattered curtains and dirty grouting in the bathroom
