The character and charm of the place you felt at home
Food was excellent and portion size was really good very good value for money
Very comfortable stay in a pub with a lot of character. Room could probably do with modernising, but everything functioned and was spotlessly clean. Good breakfast included and my request to have it slightly earlier wasn't a problem. Staff very accommodating and would happily return.

Period hotel 1520 , friendly staff, great location .
I liked the court yard and food .
Just a little re-painting here and there . bathroom needs fresh white sealant and TLC . that’s all .
The staff were very helpful
There was no hot water the whole time of our stay. The room was not very clean and the food was below average. The tv did not work properly.

Rooms were slightly cramped and uneven floors but it was absolutely fine for a night or two, and probably the nature of the old building.

trying to park was difficult, the bathroom was poor and the place was a bit run down. It served a purpose but it is in need of a makeover.
