Sweet, old-fashioned hotel in the heart of Royston.
Pros:

Property is lovely. Staff were exceedingly helpful and sweet. -breakfast was amazing- custom cooked to order. Other guests were lovely too. -but I stayed during 29 degree heat and this property was not equipped with air-conditioning.

Cons:

It seems petty to say that I didn’t like the lack of air conditioning - as it is probably only required for 4-5 days per year.

Not to price expectations and I would not stay again.
Pros:

The food and bar area were nice, the staff attentive.

Cons:

The bedroom was poor, the tv Ariel was on an old one that didn't work. The TV was small and only had lots of film options, no local tv or news channels, then kept stopping for a break, The shower was broken and relied on a hand held one of the taps.

Convenient and easy stay for local event
Pros:

Nice breakfast. Comfortable and clean room. Adequate parking. Did everything it needed to do.

Cons:

Back staircase could have been cleaner. Room was adequate but quite small.

Pros:

Very pleasant staff. Good food.

Cons:

Stairs to bedroom steep for 80+ year olds. Too much light coming in at night. Stair surroundings dusty.

Lovely pub, super location, friendly staff.
Pros:

Beautiful pub. Lovely location. Staff were friendly and attentive. Comfortable bed. Everything clean. Tasty breakfast thrown in! Lovely area to sit outside and relax.

Cons:

Wasn’t anyone’s fault but it was so hot in the room. Fan provided but still really stuffy.

Like the staff. Hated the room
Pros:

The staff. They were excellent

Cons:

The crappy entrance round the back to the apartments down a dodgy alley way. The corridors were falling apart and there were holes in them. Def would never stay there again.
