Beautiful location
Our room was fine, the loo didn’t flush properly, the sink didn’t drain properly, and the safe didn’t work properly.
Location & amount of activities for children
We were really disappointed with our visit.
The arcade had the potential to be great, but the majority of the attractions weren’t working, which took away from the experience.
We also had dinner in the pizza restaurant, and it was very poor. Both my wife and I ordered pizza, and they were incredibly greasy – so much so that the cheese just slid straight off the slices. I ended up leaving half of mine because it just wasn’t enjoyable. The garlic bread was also completely unseasoned and lacked any flavour. Spending around £70 on a meal of that quality was hugely disappointing.
We spent around 1 hour and 40 minutes in the outdoor attractions, which looked fantastic on arrival. Unfortunately, the helter-skelter was only open for about 15 minutes during the entire time we were there. My daughter was on the Land Rovers ride when it briefly opened, and by the time she came off, it had closed again. She was really upset because she’d been looking forward to going on the big slide.
Overall, there are the makings of a fantastic family attraction, but with so many things out of service and such a disappointing meal, we left feeling let down.
Great staff, location, and superb restaurant in the evening
Nothing really. Air con would be welcome as the weather heats up!
Brilliant stay as always. Staff are exceptional and resort is 1st class
Nothing i coud point out as a problem
Very friendly staff at reception
Excellent, food. Very friendly and helpful staff.
When you are a resident you should not have to pay £20.00 per child for the outdoor activities.
The facilities for kids
Not impressed with the food.. I had a burger salad and chips, chips were quite chunky and very greasy... the burger looked nice but left a greasy taste in your mouth. Breakfast starter was fine, main breakfast bacon and sausages not well cooked. Egg greasy., tea luke warm
Clean, spacious, and very comfortable.
A light directly above the bed would improve lighting for reading etc.
Breakfast was stunning great choice. Room overlooked the outside space (golf course) and surrounding area. Staff very attentative and polite, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent stay
Nothing
Everything
Nothing
The Leaping Hound, nice bar/lounge area and lunch menu is good
Kids Arcade is good fun
Do miss The Coach House
Fratelli Restaurant, service at dinner was quite slow
Clean and tidy hotel with excellent food.
My own fault for not checking but too many boisterous children. Seems like an excellent place if you play golf and have young children. Blocking VPN traffic on the network which makes it useless for connecting securely to the office. Not a business friendly establishment but again my fault for not checking beforehand.
