Bardzo przyjemny pobyt.
Pros:

Bardzo sympatyczni zarządcy. Przyjemne śniadanie (grzanki, ser, szynka, dżemy, rogaliki, jogurt, płatki, kawa, herbata - wszystko donoszone jeśli tylko miało się ochotę na więcej :) ) Przystanek dwa kroki od pokoju. Wygodne duże łóżko. Może i przydałby się w pokoju remont ale miało to swój urok :)
Na piechotę ok 15 minut na plażę i 45 min do starego miasta. Codzienne ścielenie i opróżnianie kosza :)

Cons:

Nieszczelne okna - hałas pojazdów z ulicy. Ciężko było ustawić odpowiednią temperaturę wody i słabe jej ciśnienie pod prysznicem (choć to akurat nie przeszkadzało). Zepsuta spłuczka w toalecie.

Good bits and bad bits, though the staff were pleasant and helpful.
Pros:

For a continental breakfast it was adequate. Good coffee, eggs and croissants. Poor choice of fruit

Cons:

I booked my room 3 months ago and requested a quiet room. The room I was initially shown to was tiny, and over a very busy road. The windows were single glazed. After complaining about this, I was moved to a much quieter room at the back which was far superior. Unfortunately the shower was broken. On the first morning I had about 5 minutes of hot water from it but on the following morning, none.

Eine praktische Unterkunft.
Pros:

Ein ganz großes Lob an den unglaublich freundlichen und extrem hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter am Empfang! Wenn wir eine Bitte hatten, wurde diese von ihm sofort umgesetzt bzw. uns alles Gewünschte zur Verfügung gestellt.
Aktuell finden in der Unterkunft zwar Renovierungsarbeiten statt, aber die Lage ist gut: Die Unterkunft ist gut mit dem Bus zu erreichen – die Station liegt nur wenige Meter entfernt, und die Linie 26 fährt direkt ins Stadtzentrum. Auch ein Ausflug zum Strand von Portobello ist sehr zu empfehlen – dieser ist ebenfalls mit der Linie 26 oder bequem zu Fuß erreichbar.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war für 5 Pfund leider sehr übersichtlich. Die Dusche war zwar sauber und neu, allerdings kam nur sehr wenig Wasser. Für den verlangten Preis hätte ich insgesamt eine bessere Ausstattung der Zimmer erwartet.

The room was very clean. The hotel is right next to a bus stop for easy access to the rest of the city.

adequate for my work trip
Pros:

location was good for the course i was attending and not far to walk from the bus. the staff were friendly ,respectful and helpful . my room was o.k but i am glad i went for deluxe not sure i would have liked less than that . was described as a twin bed . it was a single bed , but it was comfortable . the décor had been spruced up but there were quite a few 'tired' areas in the room . but it did have all i needed , my own shower room , with tea/coffee making area and a hairdryer

Cons:

corners of the room had scraping marks and cracks , door lock had been replaced and was loose , looked like the door had been broken in beforehand , little off putting but actually felt safe once i was settled in .
i got a free breakfast but just as well as it was continental and not able to cater for my diet which is restricted( even though i had informed them in advance ) , the pictures on the website look like its a restaurant but i don't think it was up and running when i was there . maybe had just been taken over by new owners ?

Heating rubbish, breakfast inadequate. Very basic furnishings- Over priced for what you get

There seemed to be only one staff member Manni who was great, but having to do the majority of the work and deal with the complaints. He ended up bringing us a little heater for our room as it was so cold!

Cons:

Heating in the building is terrible. Breakfast is inadequate for what is being charged. The furnishings are cheap. Hot water system:-is you could either get scolding hot water or freezing! Accident waiting to happen. Internet didn’t work until Manni brought the actual modem right into our room. No choice for a hot breakfast and dining area was freezing!!!!very very basic choices for breakfast. Road noise is awful- they need to add double glazing. They need to pick up their game charging this much money per night!

Nice hotel – their bar and restaurant is supposed to be completed next week – easy location, proprietors very helpful
Pros:

Manny and Tony we’re very helpful, gave us a lot of information and a good breakfast. Property is right off bus line, #26, that goes into city center and Portobello Beach so you definitely do not need a car. If you’re visiting a lot of castles in Scotland, look at the Explorer pass before you come-I didn’t know about it, but it looks like a good deal.

Cons:

The bathroom could use a little renovation, and like every hotel we’ve been in, hard to get the heaters on. But they were very nice and brought us up an additional space heater.
