The hotel, breakfast and the restaurant, the setting, view and the decor were all amazing as were the staff
The room was a top floor room and quite hot, even at night - unfortunately, due to climate change, air conditioning may need to be installed at some point for use in the summer
Superb location, excellent hotel with tasty food and comfortable room. Good service too.
If I’m being picky I would say the bar could do with two people staffing it during busy periods.
The room was lovely. We had the accessible room but I would have liked to have had a bath after our long walk to Whitby. It was great to have a fridge in the room so we could cool our water.

The room was small. We booked a deluxe room expecting a small sofa with tv facing but instead the there was no sofa and the tv was on the wall above one side of the bed so not great for comfort.
