Pros:

Robin Hoods Bay is a lovely town and Hotel Victoria is a grand old hotel near the top end overlooking the sea. It definitely has the feel of class and elegance. The rooms was beautifully decorated, the bed really comfortable and the bathroom and shower excellent. We also got a complimentary G&T. The staff were very nice but dinner service was a bit slow although food was good. Breakfast was excellent

Cons:

We had chosen a room with bath to sooth away the aches of the coast to coast walk and were really looking forward to this after 15 days of walking. So we were really disappointed to find there was no plug in the bath and the staff could not find a replacement

This is a beautiful hotel, very welcoming & really relaxing.
Pros:

The location, the views, the tranquility and the restaurants and bars. The staff could not have been more helpful & the service at breakfast & dinner was brilliant, as was the quality of food.

Cons:

My room overlooked the roof with an extractor fan from the kitchen which was noisy from 6.30am until 10pm, as it was through a heatwave & I had to have the windows open so I could not escape the noise.

I chose Hotel Victoria because of the ambience & style of the building & was not disappointed
Pros:

The room was excellent with superb views of Robin Hoods Bay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was rather very good. The 'Victorian' ambience was charming

Cons:

No one in reception on arrival, waited 25 minutes for someone to be found & book us in. Car parking spaces were restrictive, seemingly many taken up by staff vehicles. A meal at dinner was over cooked and ruined what was supposed to be a special evening. (this was subsequently addressed by management). Staffing levels in the dining room were not sufficient, causing long delays between courses. In fact a desert menu was presented, but the waiter never came back to take the order. We didn't bother and left.

Pros:

Breakfasts were great 👍 couldn't fault it or the staff. Location is fantastic and managed to get a parking space behind the hotel.

Cons:

Curtain covering door to balcony is very stained and carpet wasn't hoovered during our 4 night stay. Down pipe outside balcony door is very off putting when people in floor above use the bathroom also a strong sewer smell when on balcony

Incredible Place to make the special memories
Pros:

Absolutely Top Hotel , we chose this place to celebrate our special day. Rooms with balcony and sea view were amazing, such a tasty food and drinks . Very welcoming and helpful staff. Thank you for make our stay 7 stars.

pretty much faultless Perfect stay

Top drawer tasty breakfast multiple options on the menu
