Wonderful staff and comfortable lodging with a great restaurant.
Pros:

Dinner was delicious. Excellent choices. Wonderful service and friendly, warm atmoshphere.

Cons:

Rooms and bedding were good, just not fantastic. Fine for one night.

Relaxing break
Pros:

Always reurn here as staff lovely and food great. It also has a lovely beach nearby. It's a good base for the East Neuk of Fife.

Ok ma non è un 4 stelle
Pros:

Lo staff è gentile e disponibile. Buona colazione tipica Scozzese (l'unica alternativa dolce è pane tostato con marmellata).
Parcheggio comodo fuori dalla struttura e facile da trovare. Presenti in camera bollitore, biscotti, asciugacapelli. Camera pulita.

Cons:

Non è assolutamente un albergo a 4 stelle e il rapporto qualità prezzo non regge (reggerebbe se non dichiarassero 4 stelle).
La camera (abbiamo alloggiato nella 2) era estremamente piccola, con la valigia aperta non ci si muoveva. Bagno idem. La finestra da sul tetto e quando inzia il servizio al ristorante non la si può tenere aperta. Il ristorante ha molte buone recensioni ma non è nulla di speciale, la colazione però è buona. La sera e la notte non è presente nessuno.

Gemütliches kleines Hotel mit super Essen
Pros:

Super freundliches Personal, das Essen war sehr gut, wir waren 4 Tage da und konnten von Upper Largo aus die Gegend bestens erkunden. Unser Hund war in der gemütlichen Bar willkommen und der schöne Waldweg zum Strand perfekt.

Good for a single overnight stay
Pros:

Staff were pleasant, room was clean and comfortable but small. There wasn’t an easy chair to sit on and nowhere in the hotel to sit down and read.
Dinner was good, breakfast by comparison was not … undercooked poached egg ( runny white ), toasted sliced bread, mini pots of jam and marmalade
