Shower and stairs no single room downstairs
Everything was very good.
Very clean. Great customer service.
Very close to major road
The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and comfortable.
The weather was hot (and there was a fan and shutters) but the room was very warm and the windows would only open about an inch. I know it is for health and safety reasons but it was too hot to sleep.
Lobby looked nice
Once you got last the lobby, there was a foul smell like cheesy feet in the room and corridors, constantly, there was a big burn mark from a iron on the floor in our room, room 6 and also a large brown stain on the floor near the desk. I tried ignore all that despite my upset amd frustrations, but then I went for a pint at the bar and there was no staff on the bar so had to go to reception to ask for them to make me a drink and it was only about 8pm. The drink came with a bug floating in the drink. Then I couldnt even have the breakfast as they dont serve on weekends until after 8.30am and I had to leave at 8am for an appointment. Would not recommend at all, very disappointed.

Breakfast was perfect the staff Clare and Dec both were so kind and considerate,I'm 75 years of age and they respected that and absolutely nothing was to much bother they helped me above and beyond and I thank them for that.
Only thing I will say and it's not a criticism I was on the upper floor ,I missed a lift may be on the booking criteria could give the option of a lower floor.

Lots of mirrors in the extra room.
I was staying in a “suite” but the large extra room was bare except for two small chairs in the corner. I wasn’t really sure as to its purpose.
The bath was slippery when stepping out after a shower. Could have done with a rubber mat in the bath perhaps?
Breakfast was nice. Just one small thing. If you tell guests that breakfast is served until 9am and I come to breakfast at 8:45 please don’t clear everything away at 9am. If you want the breakfast room clear by 9 then tell guests that breakfast hours are until 8:30 to give people time to eat and drink.

Bathroom sink plug needs replacing, not able to drain sink properly leaving it “scummy “!
