Pros:

The location in the cosy village of Braithwaite was fabulous. The views from the bedroom and the outside tables of the surrounding mountains and countryside were stunning. Breakfast was great.

Cons:

The bed was a bit soft and bouncy, and the room was a little small. We could hear conversation from the next door room.

Pros:

Lovely tradition style country hotel, well located with easy access to roads and walks . Dog friendly , large garden with great views and lots of tables. If you can ‘t get in the car park at front of hotel..plenty close by. Good menu, traditional choice of pub food with daily changes to specials. BIG breakfast, freshly cooked and staff all very friendly .

Excellent location ..with beautiful views into the fells. Traditional Band B service in a lovely period building. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved the outdoor area especially with the recent heatwave.

Comfortable room, with an excellent breakfast. Quiet location - we were only passing through for a night, but would be a great base for exploring the area.

Fabulous location and friendly staff, very dog friendly
Pros:

Fabulous breakfast, nothing too much trouble for staff, all excellent and the beer garden with view was icing on the cake in hot weather.
Dog was made very welcome instead of tolerated like some places
Although states Keswick location it's far enough away to.be quiet, peaceful and tranquil especially during busy summer months

Cons:

Only thing was could hear some noise from neighbouring room ...early morning loud snoring but nothing hotel could change. Ear plugs if you need total silence in any hotel

3 night stay Coledale inn
Pros:

Gardens were beautiful with lots of comfortable seating, breakfast was included and was lovely, dining area was also lovely and airy and light, staff were attentive. First large room was lovely and big with parking and outside seating( mix up with room)

Cons:

On arrival no booking logged, able to accommodate however had to change rooms after first night. This was frustrating as we were unable to properly unpack and relax. Second room was much smaller in comparison, due to heatwave temperatures, the second night was dreadful and so hot, no fan in room and unable to sleep. In addition payment not processed, deposit paid but guy who took it didn't record so they requested full payment on departure, which was not ideal, however able to verify from bank app. I appreciate the weather was unusually hot, but unable to provide a fan, despite informing them what an awful second night we had.
