Nice quiet location, easy to find and very handy for Nottingham
Locality and food
Booking out process, narrow halls
Lovely friendly pub/hotel with great food
Not easy to find & need a car
A lovely place to stay
Staff were helpful, polite and welcoming.
Room was a good size, quite spacious.
Breakfast was ok.
Keypad system to get in at night was a good idea.
Slept well, hardly any noise from neighbouring rooms.
Fantastic memorabilia from RAF paratroopers- very interesting to hear bit of history behind it.
Felt a little awkward when first got there as greeted with " you're rather early". I had sent a message to say would be there between 1-2pm as had an appointment to get to by 2.30pm. Once reception had checked, it was ok and were taken to room.
The room was too warm at night- radiator set to 24°, not able to alter temperature ( sign saying not to).
Meals were presented on small plates- bigger than a side plate but smaller than a dinner plate!
Evening expensive for what they were.
I opted for B & B, although food was nice, not as much choice as other places. Only orange juice available, marmalade but no jam. Not worth the cost paid.
The bath was very high to climb into for a shower, nothing to hold onto either.
Not much around in area.
Stayed a couple of times now for work. Good food and drink comfy rooms at good prices.

In dark areas the sensor controlled lights were late to come on causing a trip hazard on the down step on entry through the very dark area door there was a warning sign on the door but it did cause our disabled friend to miss his step and jar his back
