Really very bad.
Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

I went this place as with my friends. But when I reached no way to found this place. No cleaning No wifi No parking

Overall is that what they mentioned on website they didn’t provide anything.

Good for a cheap place to rest your head in a great location.
Pros:

Free on the road parking

Great location within walking distance to everything.

Nice size rooms with black out curtains

Not as advertised…

We booked a family room that advertised 3 beds but the room had a double and a single bed so we had to share with a friend.

Shower had poor pressure and didn’t stay on the holder so had to be held while in use.

Stained towels so we went and purchased our own.

Reception was always unstaffed so couldn’t ask for help.

All just felt a bit dated and in need of some DiY

Had people living there so felt more like a bedsit and not a place to hang out.

Pros:

Overall it was a fine stay, the room was acceptable and beds were comfortable. Everyhting was as expected and was overall a fine experience. The host was nice but communication was a bit difficult, we tried to contact them multiple times through booking.com with no replies. only once we got there and got their phone number did it become slightly easier to communicate.

Cons:

We had bed bugs!!!!!!!! and asked at least 5 times for an early check in from the host and we ended up never hearing back from them until we got there on the day and he came and let us in. I also think its probablly a bit overpriced for how basic it is but cest la vie.

I believe this maybe a location used by the council to rehome homeless people. There was also building work going on in buildings behind us .

Paper peeling off the walls big crack in ceiling overdoor
Door was very hard to open and close .carpet was dirty .bedside cabinet fell apart when moved. .found dirty socks on floor .

Cons:

The place is filthy, dirty stained carpets and curtains. Sockets hanging off the walls or taped up, the smell of urine and cigarette smoke in the hall ways is gross. “Cleaner” walking around bear foot in boxer shorts, staff/management nowhere to be seen. Mouldy bathrooms, peeling paint and showers held together with elastic bands. Considering the clientele, only book if you would like to experience staying in a HMO.

I could not stay. I was not possible for me to stay.

The place was closed. It was being renovated. The owner was not aware that The OYO Lodge was available online with Hotel Booking.com.

Cons:

It was not open for business and witnessed someone running out with a weapon after someone else in the car park.

Horrendous
Pros:

Nothing, it stunk of smoke & alcohol covered with a spray of fabbreeze! 🤮

Cons:

The staff member was smoking on arrival in reception, the entrance was full of cigarette ash & dirt. our room was not ready so he went up to clean… 3 mins later we could then go up.

We found, it stunk of smoke & alcohol, I have evidence that the cleaner smoked in the rooms while cleaning, broken furniture, dirty beds. Unable to see out of the windows because it was that dirty.
I obviously did not stay there & currently trying to get a full refund, but they have told booking.com they decline!!

So I am now awaiting for booking.com or thr property customer service to send me my full refund! I paid £274.. for 1 night in a 4 star.

This place needs to be removed!! It’s not fit for a dog.
It also did not feel safe with two men, smoking & smelling of alcohol for me & my daughter to stay.

I have more photos - but it only allowed me to up load 4!

Cheap but did the job
