There was no breakfast as they not been sign of by the council but the website said there was breakfast
The bed was not comfortable
The shower was good when we had hot water but was sporadic
The whole place was run down. Stank of smoke. Apparently under new management. Our bed was just awful. A very old or cheap mattress with springs sticking into our backs, so no sleep. Charging London prices for a dump!
Room and location were fine.
On arrival we were told that they don't do breakfast, then told later that there would be breakfast served, but dining room closed when we tried the next morning at 8.30a.m.
The staff weren't quite what you'd expect for a hotel!! Is this a workman's hotel? Signs re. taking off workboots, no smoking in entry lobby etc.

The friendly welcome and budget price. Also clean and comfortable and in a convenient location.
The shower in our room didn’t work. It was late at night so we didn’t report it until the morning, I’m sure if we had reported it earlier they would have tried to fix it.

Was told to use shared shower but paid for private bathroom.

The breakfast was expensive and the smell in the room was awful. The remote for the tv was missing, I did inform the manager. No one there after bar closed phone no one desk in reception.

The worse sleep ever! Hot and stuffy room despite a little fan blasting all night. Bad quality mattress and cheap pillows. The toilet was leaking at the back when flushing with the water running to the front to drain so we had to watch where we put our feet (did have a small video of that but no way to upload here).
The shower was fine but the soap dispenser run out in the morning when about to shower - lucky I had a small bottle with me.
Glad it was only a one night stay..
Renovation work in progress. The plastic bathroom was a joke!!!!
Really lovely staff, room was lovely and clean and the towels was such a nice touch for me and my best friend!

Great central location, lovely clean comfy bed, soft fluffy towels and lovely hot shower - all you need for a short stay!
It was fine for us- but be aware that stairs to rooms are quite steep should you have mobility issues
