Have stayed before but this time our room was at the front of the pub so facing the road...traffic noise all night!
Also the light on the smoke alarm illuminated the whole room so didn't have a good sleep at all.

The room was a lovely size and very clean. The staff were amazing too and we're very accommodating when we had lunch with family and friends before we left.
The bed was too hard for my liking. The floorboards creaked and the walls were thin but it's an old building so that to be expected. We had ear plugs so didn't effectour sleep.

Great location for the Yorkshire Showground. Plenty of free parking. Lovely room. Superb food in the pub. Easy to get to Harrogate and York. Very friendly helpful staff. Good value. Good breakfast. All very clean and recently refurbished. Very busy every night.
