Only niggle we had was noise from
Roommate as in very very creaky floorboards but only a minor niggle, it would not put us off staying again.
Fabulous breakfast - clean & modern accommodation; helpful staff who were very accommodating.
There was an issue with our room, but was rectified by helpful staff.
The location was fabulous, meals and pub were lovely and free parking

Interesting heritage building, Great beakfast. A much better option than staying in Harogate if you have a car.
Noisy bedroom floor due to age of building.
Room was ok and evening meal was ok
Sound insulation in the room was very poor - could hear everything from the next room - very noisy. Also this is part of the Vintage Inns Collection - not The Inn Collection Group - I would n't have booked it if I had known.
I won't be visiting any inns from theis group again.
Beer garden was lovely
The hotel was lovely and the staff where friendly and welcoming. We have a meal both nights and the food was fantastic. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here
The bed was a little bit to hard for me and the shower was slow to drain and would fill the shower tray with water.

A nice looking pub with great rooms to stay in. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast all made fresh.
The evening menu is towards the pricey end for pub food and sides are extra in top of the main course. (Although my son had the pork belly which was delicious.) we also had a mediocre Caesar salad and some very ungarlicky garlic mushrooms. The king bed mattress in the family room we stayed dipped away from the legs down so was very uncomfortable for me with bad back.
