It was ok but I understand the decision the owner has taken to not have staff between 3-6pm
Pros:

It was ok

Cons:

It would have been great if a member of staff had been there to greet us rather than an email to tell us how to get in to the property as there was no sign of life when we arrived. We subsequently found out that the food and drink was actually good there so I was told. But as no staff there we went somewhere else and spent £75 there.

Excellent Place to Stay See You Again!
Pros:

Excellent room with the most friendly staff. They were really helpful especially the girl who showed us to our room! The bed was ultra comfortable. Never got to enjoy the restaurant but it looked really nice! Ideal location for what i traveled for. Very Good!

Cons:

No cooked breakfast but the breakfast hamper superb!

A fine accommodation in a great location. Plenty of hot water and fresh air with opening windows.

excellent. Second time i have stayed and will so again
Pros:

Breakfast box is clever idea but quality of croissants was poor.
However restaurant food was outstanding - which set some expectations around breakfast

Our second trip and still a great place to stay
Pros:

Lovely clean, tidy room at the Fox and Hounds.
This was our second visit, so we knew that it was good and handy for a trip to Silverstone the following day.
We had an evening meal which was fabulous.

Cons:

Nothing. All good. Only didn't give 10/10 as it seems like a lot to pay for a room for a night, but I'm probably a bit out of touch.

Cons:

Once you’d eaten in the dining room there is nowhere sit comfortably and it was shut by 10pm. No tv in room, only 1 chair, no table. Breakfast to be eaten in room but nowhere to sit for 2 people, only 1 chair, other than on the bed. Coffee machine needs descaling (yellow light on) and had to wipe censor before it would work.

Perfect location beautiful surroundings , outstanding food and warm friendly staff
Pros:

Such lovely and attentive staff
Lovely food in restaurant
Perfect location room size perfect walkable distance from everything we needed for our stay
Overall clean and comfy with lovely finishing around the room felt more like a home from home
Really good prices for a beautiful location and outstanding food and hospitality

Cons:

As stated overall clean but we did have to wipe out our cups as dust was in them and the coffee machine was dirty where coffee pods are placed but it has to be said lovely selection of coffee and hot chocolate and great to have a coffee machine and kettle
Bathroom clean could do with shower gel as well as shampoo and conditioner and toilet brush was also covered in wet toilet paper but we didn’t have to use it and I’m sure it was just missed on our visit and not a regular occurrence
We love it here so we will always return we just hope these help that sometimes the little things need a double check !

Gret food, comfortable room & good value for money
Pros:

Location great and the evening meal exceptional. Lovely starter of Pigeon followed by a deconstructed Venison toad-on-the-hole.......too full for pudding.
Room was nice and clean, spacious and comfortable with a great shower.

Cons:

Breakfast was a bit disappointing

we couldnt get access as the pub was shut , and we didnt recieve email for the key safe so we had to book a new hotel .
