Below expectation
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful and the daily breakfast was good. The location was also good (although it's tucked in a little back alley) and close to the Beijing Lu Metro Station.

Cons:

The day we checked in the hotel lobby smelled very bad (musty) and it didn't make a good impression at all. We stayed in the Superior Twin Rooms and although the beds were comfortable, the rooms were very small and cramped for the price that we paid. We didn't have enough space for our luggage and had to squeeze past one another to walk around the room. The toilet and shower was also very tight.

Pros:

Location- 5 min walk to Beijing Road pedestrian street via a shopping mall just opposite the hotel. It is also a 10 min walk to the river and cruse centre.

While the exterior of the hotel looks very run down, it's interior is surprisingly modern and inviting. The room comes with complimentary packet milk and bottled water.

Cons:

For the value I paid, I have no complaints.

Удачное расположение, удобная кровать, все продумано. Вкусный и разнообразный завтрак. Сразу поменяли номер, как только мы попросили, в первом варианте неприятно пахло.

Cons:

Нет окон! И по фотографиям это непонятно! Нигде не указано! Абсолютно в любое время суток при верхнем свете и просыпаешься в кротовой норе!
Несмотря на табличку на двери «Не беспокоить», все равно умудрились прийти с водой и полезли расправлять кровать с моей пижамой, не люблю, когда трогают буквально нижнее белье.
