Sehr schön und komfortabel für so weit oben. Nachtessen und Frühstück ist inklusive. Bergbahn kostet extra. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Dinner was very disappointing. Quite pathetic. Over cooked schnitzel, with runny mash potato, with coleslaw. Dessert was a rather dry carrot cake. For the overnight price, bad value too.

マッターホルンが間近に見られて良いです。
マーモットやシュタインボックも見られました。
トロッケナーシュテックからマッターホルングレッシャートレイルの帰着地として宿泊しました。
マッターホルンに登る人も見えます。

Cons:

移動時に天気が悪いと最悪です。ゴンドラが止まるほどの天候になると移動できなくなります。

Gute Lage, Führung des Hotels minimalistisch
Pros:

Lage, d.h. berhalb von Zermatt, am Fuss des Matterhorns und damit ausserhalb des Jubel-Trubels, umfangreiches Frphstück, freundlicher „Mädchen für alles“

Cons:

Man spürt, dass es minimalistisch geführt wird (1 Mann für Reception und Restaurant, 1 Koch) und eigentlich einer Überholung bedarf, überall sind Zeichen des langsamen Verfalls(kaputte, verbrauchte Einrichtung, Löcher im Bettleintuch) und man hat das Gefühl, jetzt wird einfach noch das Letzte herausgeholt, was möglich ist (man fragt sich, wer hier denn der Besitzer ist…). Das Essen kommt aus der Tiefkühltrue (Schweinsscnitzel mit Pommes), ist trocken und zäh und der Salat, mit VIEL Mayonnaise, kommt aus dem Glas. - Keine wirklich gute Reklame für - vor allem - Ausländer, die da sind… Keine wirklich „Schweizerische“ Qualität… was sich das ältere asiatische Ehepaar wohl gedacht hat??
